Review of Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute - VJTI Mumbai.

Placements: Placement regarding control system is not so good, but if you have good knowledge about computer language, then there is a chance to get placed. Internship offers are quite low for CS students. If you want to do research, then it is an excellent platform for research students.

It is a highly prestigious college within India which provides placements to almost every student.

Placements: Placement process in our college is very good. Nearly 95% of the students from each branch surely get placements. For electronics branch, L&T, Fractal Analytics, PWC, Deloitte (India & US), ZS Associates, these are some of the companies which recruit through campus placements. The highest salary package offered varies from 12-15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered varies from 4.5-5 LPA. The average salary offered is 6 LPA. For internship too, we have a very good number of companies like UBS, ...

It was an overwhelming experience in VjTI.

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5LPA. Companies like Bajaj, Mahindra, L&T, Lodha, Yamaha, Deloitte, PWC, Varroc, CG Power, Mahindra logistic, Future Supply Chains, etc., visited the campus for placements. Roles offered were both technical and non-technical. Only 10% of students got internships in Bajaj and one cement company.

One of the best institutes to pursue engineering degree.

Placements: As I was doing M Tech. There were not many companies who visited. But for B Tech course, a lot of companies visited. The placement rate is pretty good. Many software companies came. M Tech people tried on their own and now most of the class mates are placed in good company.

A college with enthusiastic students.

Placements: Average salary packages were offered for the students of EXTC branch who passed out in 2018. The salary package offered was 6.50 LPA, and around 97% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 24 LPA by Rakuten, Japan. Also, Indian companies offered salary packages around 10-12 LPA maximum. The jobs offered were related to coding and consulting.

Our college has good academics, learning environment and good placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. According to the placement report of our senior batch, there are 99% placements for computer science and information technology branches. Companies like Morgan Stanley, Samsung, Credit Suits, Goldman Sachs, etc., offer placements as well as internships. Roles like technical, consultancy, etc., are offered.

Placements are good, and the infrastructure is okay.

Placements: The placements in our college are excellent. Both core and non-core companies visit the campus for placements. The placement rate of CS and IT departments is 100%. Leading tech-giants visit the campus for placements. The training and placement cell and the training and placement officer are good. Packages offered are the best, and the faculty members are very cooperative.

Neither good nor bad, but somehow satisfactory when you take campus placements into consideration.

Placements: Placements in the college are good. Almost all of my seniors as well as students of the current batch got placed. A lot of companies visited the campus for placements, but I would have really liked to see a few more prestige companies. Roles offered were of consultancy, data analyst, and software developer.

Review of Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute.

Placements: Most of the students in my batch got placements through campus selections. But many profiles offered were related to sales and services. Those job roles can be important, but they are not what a student graduating from a premier institute like VJTI looks for. We were expecting more profiles like design engineer, RnD engineer, which were not offered in the campus placements. Getting those profiles was rare and they were only 20%.

The college could be the best. Management should consider increasing the pedagogical standards.

Placements: As far as placements are concerned, they are much better in our department as compared to any other branch in our college. My seniors had a placement rate of nearly 96% out of which some had really good packages of about 9-5 lacs per annum. Out of the 4% of unplaced students, many of them opted for higher studies. Internships were provided to them from various companies like Welspun and Raymonds to name a few. Similarly, even we get to do internships at such good companies with stipends ranging ...

VJTI is a good college with good placements and average infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: Placements at VJTI are quite good with almost 80% of students getting placed in each branch. Placements in our college are still better than placements in COEP. The highest package offered is around 30 lacs per annum, but it is for core branches like mechanical, electrical, and production. The highest salary package offered in other branches is 11 lacs per annum which is not that good compared to other branches. But if you are in the computer, IT, and EXTC or electronic branches, you get good in...

It is hard to survive in this college without fests.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students get placed by the end of the academic year. The placements of the college are really good, especially for CS and IT branches. Top investment banking companies and consultancies visit every year to offer placements and internships. Last year, the highest salary package offered was 30 LPA, it was offered by a Japanese company. The internship stipend is as high as Rs. 87,000 per month, offered by Morgan Stanley. Vjti-one of the oldest institutions of our nation.

Placements: The placements at VJTI are far better compared to other colleges in Mumbai. Many multinational companies like JP Morgan, Microsoft, Bank of America, Credit Suisse, Amazon, etc. Visit campus and offer great packages. Even core companies like Airtel, LnT, visit the campus. Overall, the placements are good.

VJTI is a brand only because of the quality students but not of college facilities.

Placements: The students pursuing B.Tech in electronics and telecommunication, electronics, electrical, information technology, and computer science have been offered positions in prestigious companies except for the students who have extremely low GPA bordering on 5.0 out of 10. Even those students were able to secure jobs through off-campus placements. At the lower end of the salary, spectrum of the branches which I have mentioned, lie in electrical engineering students including electronics and electroni...

VJTI - 4 years of mesmerizing journey.

Placements: Placements are good. No doubt about it. The highest salary offered was 24 Lacs and the lowest was 3.2 lacs. But there is a catch. If you are taking internship in your third year, and if the company selects you, then the T. P. O does't let you sit in the placement cell. This is the main issue faced. The T. P. O wants to achieve 100% placement and for this it does't let you sit for other companies once you are selected.

A Great legacy, good placements and environment, benefits of being an Autonomous Institute.

Placements: Quite some core companies. Placements ratio is over 85% for most branches, around 95% for Comps/IT. Salaries range from the standard minimum to around 20lac with a few companies offering >20lac. Internships are good too, some of them requiring higher CGPA than that required during placement interviews. Some 2017 companies: Media. NET SAP, Samsung, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, Credit Suisse, GE, Delloite, Barclays, Wissen, Impress, E&Y, CitiCorp, BOA, Deutsche Bank, Cisco, OFSS, Infosys, HSBC, L&T, Ub...

Good only in terms of fees else there are better options than VJTI.

Placements: VJTI maintains 99-100% placements almost every year. The packages of MCA students aren't that high as compared to packages of B.Tech students. Most companies don't allow MCA to sit interviews when compared to B.Tech. The highest package goes up to 8-10 LPA. Around 25-30 companies come for B.Tech and 15-20 for MCA.

Placements: I am yet to graduate, but looking at the previous record, I am confident about getting a good overall placement in a great company. There is a placement cell in our college. Big companies like Amazon, Rakuten, Bank of America have visited our college and also good internships were offered.
