Placements in 2018 were good.

Placements: Placements in 2018 were good compared to 2017. Our college had a placement cell. They groomed all the basic stuff before 1 month of placement start. The highest salary offered was around Rs. 60,000 per month. The average salary offered was around Rs. 20,000 per month. The placement cell was very useful.

There are good placements in the college every year.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Among all the branches, the highest placement percentage is being achieved by the CSE branch students. More than 200 companies come to the college offering high packages every year. Most probably, all the students from every branch get placed in different companies.

The college has good infrastructure and knowledgeable and active faculty members.

Placements: The college concentrates more on placement activities. Companies like Wipro, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Hyundai, MK Auto Components, Titan, Quest Global, Valued Epdimetsics, Ninja Cart, Ions, and many more companies visited our college for individual branches.

The best college to study under Anna University.

Placements: The college provides placement classes from the 2nd year of the batch so that the students prepare well for placements. Almost 99% of the seniors were placed in different areas. A few of them are pursuing higher studies with the support of our college. Top-most companies prefer to recruit students from our college, and the salary offered is more than Rs. 50,000 mostly. In fact, I am proud of it. Almost every student has got an internship.

We are dissatisfied with the management for not supporting the sports people.

Placements: I have completed B.E in the mechanical stream. No core company has visited our campus. Only IT companies such as Wipro, Tech Mahindra and TCS have visited the campus to offer placements. So, this college is the best for IT and CS students but not for mechanical and civil branches.

All details in one place.

Placements: Placements were very rare and you can expect only IT companies for placements, and to the worst thing, they will reveal all the questions and they will ask you to prepare. In our department out of 150 students 30 students were placed. Only 4 IT companies came for placements and those were IBM WIPRO MOBIUS capegemini. The highest salary was 25k per month and the lowest salary was 8k per month, and college does't support any internship, yes there is a placement cell and they give their maximum eff...

My college Review-Veltech.

Placements: Placement are decent when compared with other B grade colleges. Around 25 companies like capgemini, Wipro, techmahindra, musigma, etc. , visited our college. I can't say it's a cent percentage placement but all the dedicated students got placed. We had a placement cell which assists in clearing of all the rounds in interview.

Go for it if you're ready to bound by small, yet silly, rules.

Placements: I was one of the students who got a job through campus placements. Generally, the placements are conducted for all the engineering colleges under VelTech Group, which includes 4 colleges. So, ideally, the competition inside is high. I can easily say that this is the best engineering college in those 4 colleges.

This college is only for enjoyment.

Placements: The placement in this college is very poor. For a single company their will be more than 3k students will attend. In placements the students from veltech, veltech multitech students will also be joined to attend a company. That's why their will be heavy competition for a placement. As the year of 2016 & 2017 years their will be only 200 students will get a job in campus interview other students not getting placements in any companies. So, in placement this college is the worst.

Not a good decision to join.

Placements: They usually make placements with CGPA above 7.5 for top reputed IT companies and for developing IT companies they ask for a first class all clear students. Salary offered depends upon the organisation E. g. IBM offered 26k per month while mobius offered 8k per month. For my batch the recruitment organisations were IBM, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Mobius and IBS. Not very good role, internships were not motivated by our college and there was no core company placements. There is a placement cell and th...

Satisfied with the faculty and placements in 2016. Infrastructure and facilities are also good.

Placements: The placements are very good. Companies like IBM, Wipro, CSC, Virtusa, etc., came and those students who are really comfortable with aptitude and basic programming in C and C+ with decent CGPA got placed. Students were offered associates post in IT companies. If you really need to be placed, start aptitude and C and C+ programming from the 2nd year onwards.

A college with strict management, but good placements.

Placements: The placements are better compared to other colleges. We had placements from the big companies like Zoho, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and many small companies. They do conduct off-campus interviews, and the placement team will inform students about the interview happening outside other colleges too. Pre-placement training is also provided before each campus interview. Overall, my batch had very good companies which came for the interview.

The worst teaching methods are used. The college has strict rules.

Placements: The placements offered in our college are average. Wipro, Capgemini and many other companies come for placements, but some companies hire engineering students for BPO services. In our department, around 10% of the students are placed. The highest package offered by the company was Rs. 3.25 LPA. When compared to our senior batch, the students placed from our batch are less. The internships are not offered by our college.

The worst behavior of college in Chennai.

Placements: Placements are the worst because only 10 members got placed in my department. In my senior's batch, placement was 70%, but this time my college is not able to place us. Only a minimum number of companies are coming to our college because of our university not connecting much to us.

Average college - Join if you want to just pass engineering.

Placements: Placement count had reduced drastically compared to the previous year. Top recruiters were Wipro, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Flextronics. There were other companies who recruited less than 5-10 candidates. Placement training was intense. Tech Mahindra's recruitment was good but the students never got their call letters due to their new process.
