Go for it if you're ready to bound by small, yet silly, rules.

Placements: I was one of the students who got a job through campus placements. Generally, the placements are conducted for all the engineering colleges under VelTech Group, which includes 4 colleges. So, ideally, the competition inside is high. I can easily say that this is the best engineering college in those 4 colleges.

A college with strict management, but good placements.

Placements: The placements are better compared to other colleges. We had placements from the big companies like Zoho, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and many small companies. They do conduct off-campus interviews, and the placement team will inform students about the interview happening outside other colleges too. Pre-placement training is also provided before each campus interview. Overall, my batch had very good companies which came for the interview.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the bad placements in 2015.

Placements: The placement for my batch and for my senior batch was average only. Only 10-20% of the students got placed in best companies. The highest salary offered was 25 thousand per month, the average salary was Rs. 15000 per month and the lowest was Rs. 8000 per month. Wipro, Igate, HCL, Serco, General Electrics, etc. visited the campus. Software engineer, software testing, BPO, and marketing roles were offered. No one got an internship from the college.

Average infrastructure and good faculty.

Placements: Our college takes efforts in bringing as many companies as possible for recruitment. So the talented students surely will get placed. You will have to clear the Anna University exam at the time of placements. For arrear students, there are limited opportunities and they will have to work hard to get placed.

This college is situated in Avadi. Transport is a major concern in this area and hence it is beneficial if a student uses his / her private transport. Admission on the basis of quota (management seat, government seat etc.) system is prevalent. If a student seeks admission via management quota then the fees charged will be on the higher side. You can get government seat by writing Tancet exam conducted by the Tamil Nadu government each year. Infrastructure wise college is fine and okay. Teachers ...
