Placements: I am a BE marine engineer in our batch. There are 80 cadets, and out of 80, only a single student got placed in a company through placements. So, placements are very poor. If you join this college, you have to arrange for a job, and then you can join this college.
Placements: The placements are not that good. Only 2 students got placed in my batch. That's not the fault of our college, but it is due to covid-19. The top recruiting companies are MOL Tankship Management, K-Line Shipping Management Pvt., Ltd., etc. The top role offered is senior cadet captain.
Placements: For every batch, they'll take only 80 students for this particular course. The highest package was 3 LPA, and the lowest package was 2.2 Lacs per annum. There were a few internships. The top courses were BE (bachelor's of marine engineering) and B.Sc. (bachelor's of nautical science).
Placements: I am a student of B.E Marine Engineering. And talking about the placement, there is very poor placement record in our college as present scenario of our field is very bad. College is trying to get placement for our student. In our batch there are 80 students and out of 80 only 4 got placed.
Placements: The college is not just like engineering colleges to hook you up with a job via placements. Once you finish your course, it is your own ability to suit yourself further. An average of 70% to 80% students gets through the final year. Anyhow, the students who entered the college through counselling may get around Rs. 1,000 to 2,000 as a stipend I guess, and I am not aware of the current scenario as you can only get through NEET exams.
Placements: Please don't expect much. Generally, the placements are about 9-11%, that too after lots of shortlisting. We have just 2-3 companies visiting each year, offering a maximum of 5 placements. Only one company takes those 5 students, and the rest take 2 to 3 students. These companies include K-LINE and MOLTA. Considering B.Sc, the conditions are better. We are expecting one more company to arrive.
Placements: 3-4 companies visiting the campus interview and get up to 10 placements for each company. The selected students get scholarship of last semester fees in hand. Only the top 20 students can enter the interview. There should not include any arrears to enrol on the campus. To enrol in the campus interview, the students should withstand above 80% marks.
Placements: In a batch of 80, 5 on campus placement through K-Line shipping management and 3-4 outside through MOL Shipping. Placement is very less. Others have to pay to agents from outside and may contact companies directly which is fairly tough. Last year, only 4 were placed on campus for B.E. and 10 for B. Sc.
Placements: Approximately 80% of students in our DME batch were placed. The salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiters were MOL and Maersk. The remaining cadets account for 80–90% of students. I got placed at our college. I was very happy to join this college. You will find a job. There are plenty of sea service RPAL companies to get into.
