A:

Based on the available data, both B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and B.Tech in Electrical and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Vidyavardhini College of Engineering and Technology (VCET) have good placement records. Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

All the best. If you have talent you will get there.
Placements: 70% of students get placed. 1.5 to 5 lacs are the packages offered in many courses. Tech information and many more companies visit college as per their requirements. This depends on the students, their grades, and their choice. I don't know anything about the offer.
Infrastructure: There are no hostels for students; please check PGs. There are many PGs nearby. The library faculty is outstanding. The labs are very good. The classroom is too good. The canteen is much more expensive, and the taste is not that much good but the space is good. The thing is, please get your food from home.
Faculty: The teachers are outstanding; they are always ready to help you; it's up to you how you are going to use them. The knowledge level is totally mind-blowing, especially in physics, sir and BE mechanics are the best. They start with the basics and teach you everything.
Other: I opted for civil because of my interest. All you need is confidence and hard work, and you will be able to master it so do your best. Events are as good as I have seen and crazy things are going on, but as usual, it is not easy at all.

Our college is perfect for civil engineers.
Placements: Around 30-35% of students get placed every year in our college. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and local construction companies. Around 25% of students got internships in local companies. A few students got internships in companies like Brain Heaters, etc. The top role offered is a construction manager.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is perfect and best compared to other colleges. Our college provides us with good facilities. The food served in the canteen is good. A gymnasium is available for students. Our college provides us with sports facilities like carrom, football, table tennis, etc.
Faculty: Our teachers are knowledgeable and well-experienced. Our teachers are perfect in teaching because they have almost more than 10 years of teaching experience. The course curriculum is not perfectly good. If students want to get ready for the industry, they have to do internships which are provided by our college. Exams are not much easy. Students have to attend all lectures to pass exams.
Other: Our course is very good. Our college should improve the lab facilities for better practicals. Our college conducts many types of events, fests, and extracurricular activities which are offered by different branches. All students participate in every fest, event, and extracurricular activity. Students can join any community and can gain some work experience with them.

A good college in all aspects
Placements: To be honest I can say that for IT, CS, and extc engineering, Vidyavardhinis college is best from a placement point of view. Because I have seen in my college experience almost all the students from this department got placed from college in very high reputed companies like L&T, Infosys, Mahindra, TCS. For core branches like mechanical and civil, the college is best in study point of view, best for teaching, teachers are experienced but have no placement for civil students. In our batch, no student got placed in civil from the college, those who got place are placed into IT companies.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is quite good. During our second year, the college had complete renovation work. The classroom turned into a digital classroom and included a projector in each class. Computer IT labs are smart working. Wi-Fi facility is available in the college. The college canteen has a variety of food including Chinese. Sport, gymkhana and all facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and knowledgeable. Even office staff is also quite helpful. Teachers are industry experienced and many of the teachers are Ph.D. holders. To pass the semester exam 50% is in the student's hand. Teachers try to complete all the syllabus. They take extra lectures to complete it and even provide notes and question bank before the exam, It is easy to pass the exam if students did that much.
Other: When I passed 12 I had no idea about anything. I just wanted to take admission in core branches and through cap rounds, I got a seat in this college in the civil department. That is how I chose civil. To talk about good things, I can say that, in civil site visits for 2 to 3 days in Lonavla. The college cultural fests, sports fests, and exhibitions are just like enjoying 1 month without studying. February month is the only enjoyment in college.

I suggest you take admission to this college only for computer and IT engineering.
Placements: From civil engineering, none of the students were placed in the core, and only 1 student got placed out of 70 students in an IT company. There is not much placement assistance for civil engineering, which really disappoints students while they are in the final year. For seeking placements in the core branch, they invest 4 years.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and sports are good at times, but they are doing more modification and renovation work at the moment. There is no hostel, but there is a canteen. The food served there is average. Prices are also reasonable, so there are no complaints about that.
Faculty: The teachers here are qualified and knowledgeable, but they don't know to express and explain their knowledge. The course is very good and very helpful, and it is designed very nicely by Mumbai University. It would really help students like me who want to pursue a career in civil engineering.
Other: Our college didn't organise many interesting fests that I personally enjoy as every year they follow the same thing. I felt kind of bored for the first time only.

A bit dissatisfied about the placements, but the knowledge gained and experience was good.
Placements: Placements are good for Computer Science and Information Technology department but for civil there are almost negligible placements. Packages were not offered as placements was negligible. Internship are provided in the local area by the department. Almost everyone got internship.
Infrastructure: Below Average infrastructure. We have a canteen and gym khaana but it's just for name. The quality will be improved in the coming years. Classrooms are quite vast and healthy environment with projectors in every class for studying. Sports area is quite less as we only have a very small ground. Medical facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are enthusiastic and give you vast amount of knowledge. Theoretically speaking we gain good knowledge but as civil is a practical field, the field exposure is required and internship are provided by the department. I could not say perfectly industry ready students are made, but we get enough idea about the industry. Semester exams are tough. Passing percentage is around 70% students pass.
Other: The Zeal event is quite good. Teachers and Students take good interest in Extra curricular activities. Only concern is placement but it will improve by time.
