Review of VIPS- Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies.
Placements: Almost every eligible candidate got placed in reputed companies like Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Vivo, Concentrix, etc. Our college offers good placements and students are free to gain experience with internships (for which professors provide a lot of help and guidance).
Infrastructure: The quality of the canteen food is super good, and there's also a Nescafé outlet in the cafeteria. Our college has a robust infrastructure, which includes a different library for each department, comfortable classrooms and different labs. It has fully air-conditioned classes, labs, libraries, smart classes and halls.
Faculty: All the teachers and professors are very helpful, hardworking, professional and knowledgeable, and they hold a nice grip over their subjects in greater depth. They not only cover the course but also discuss the relevant topics needed for the development of students. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate. The pass percentage is around 75%.
Other: I chose this course because it provides detailed information about various subjects like accountancy, economics, finance, business, etc. There were two annual fests every year. One is for VIPS, i.e., Initio and one for the whole GGSIPU, i.e., Anugoonj, followed by different events held over a period of one or two months.

Our college placements are good but course curriculum is old.
Placements: More than half of our batchmates were placed. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. The top recruiting company was the Big 4. Most of the students got internships in Deloitte and others got placed in the Big 4. The top role offered was business analyst.
Infrastructure: In this college, air-conditioners were available and classrooms were spacious. Seats were comfortable for students. The library was well stocked and it was the perfect place for self-studying. The computer laboratory was available with high-speed internet. There was no hostel facility because VIPS is not a residential college. There were many cheap residential students accommodation available around this college. Sports facilities were available. The food served in the canteen was good.
Faculty: The teaching quality was average. Few teachers were helpful in this college. Our course curriculum was designed by GGSIPU and it was outdated. Students had to do extra courses on their own for good jobs. Semester exams were moderate.
Other: VIPS is one of the best colleges in GGSIPU. It provided the best infrastructure, location, and brand value. They need to update our course curriculum. Many fests and tournaments were conducted. The connectivity was good i.e., 1 km away from Haidarpur Badli metro station. Our campus crowd was good.

A comprehensive review of VIPS.
Placements: About 70% of students got placed in my course. The highest package offered was 12 LPA and the minimum was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies in my course are Wipro and Infosys. The roles offered in my course are finance, manager, accountant, etc. And the pay scale is also quite good.
Infrastructure: The campus has good Wi-Fi indoors. The classrooms do get quite crowded, but the library has the best collection of books and a calm, peaceful environment. The food in the cafeteria is not very good; it's just about fine. As for sports, there is a field for football, cricket, volleyball, basketball and facilities for indoor games as well.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful but they are not very strict. If you have doubts, you'll have to reach out to them. They are experts in their subject. The curriculum is relevant but after completing the course, you'll need some experience to be industry-ready. The semester is not very hard, and the exams are average. Most of the students pass the exams with ease.
Other: I chose this course as I had taken commerce in school and it has good opportunities. There's nothing that I'd want to improve in the course; I would just ask for more interactiveness. The events are fun and the college does provide opportunities to socialize.

I am satisfied with all facilities provided by this college.
Placements: Almost 95% of students are placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, Vivo, and Capgemini. The top roles offered in our course are human resources manager and marketing head.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are in the good condition in this college. The furniture is not up to the mark. It is fully air conditioned. The classrooms and corridors are very spacious. I am a day scholar so I do not know about hostel facilities. The food in the canteen is of good quality. There are outlets like Mother Dairy and Nescafe.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is highly commendable. The curriculum of the course is up to the mark. The difficulty in the semester exams is moderate.

B.Com (Hons) review for batch 2022-25.
Placements: There is no official data, so no one apart from the placement cell can provide accurate information. Although many students get internships, and a number of companies offer paid internships, placements are average. Most companies that visit the campus are small startups, and a few banks also visit. The average package is around 3-4 lakhs, and the highest is around 7 lakhs. Roles are offered in every domain.
Infrastructure: VIPS has the best infrastructure among all the colleges under IPU. There are three different buildings/blocks for different departments and multiple libraries as well. VIPS is fully air-conditioned, and even the corridors are connected with centralized air conditioning. The canteen is also good, with many options and affordable prices. There is no hostel in VIPS. There are not many sports facilities apart from the basketball court.
Faculty: Teachers are decent, not too bad and not too good. Although some teachers are exceptional, the majority are well-qualified and approachable as well. The curriculum is the same as in every other college of IPU. It is somewhat relevant, but there is still scope for improvement. The difficulty level varies; it is more difficult compared to other private colleges/universities.
Other: B.Com (Hons) and BBA are quite similar in IPU. I was more inclined towards finance, so I chose B.Com (Hons) over BBA. I wish they also included Python/SQL for data analysis in the course. Fests are decent; Parmish Verma visited the campus in the last fest. The crowd is great, one of the best in IPU, and connectivity is also fine, with 2 metro stations nearby and a bus stand.

* Knowledgeable faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, experienced, and supportive, providing individual attention to students.
* Opportunities for internships and placements: The college placement cell offers internships and placements, although the number of companies visiting the campus is limited.
* Strong alumni network: VIPS has a strong alumni network, with many successful professionals in the field of law.
* Location: The college is situated in a prime location in Delhi, with easy accessibility to public transport.

Cons:
