Placements in 2017 were good.

Placements: Overall, the placement rate was really good for computer science and information technology departments. We were provided with an ample number of opportunities. The placement head is also good. The schedule of the companies visiting the college is notified much early so that we get proper time for preparing.

Good College Overall. Could work on infrastructure.

Placements: The highest salary offered was 19lpa by JP Morgan for CS/IT domain. The lowest was around 2.7lpa by core Electronics and IT companies. Internships weren't compulsory at our time so very few people opted for them. However now it is made compulsory so almost the entire batch gets internships. Placement cell is run by only faculty and no student participation. It ran decently.

Moving Forward at a good pace.

Placements: The placements of this college are pretty good. Though there are less number of core companies for students from Mechanical, Instrumentation and Electronics and telecommunication, there are a good number of IT companies which come to campus. In my batch the highest salary was offered by Amazon and the lowest salary offered was around 2.5 L per annum. Yes there is a placement cell, and it is quite efficient as it brings a ot of good companies for recruitment. Some of the companies visiting our ca...

One of the best engineering college in Pune.

Placements: Placement was good for Computer/IT stream. For other streams very less companies around 7 to 8. Percentage wise other stream has 20-25%. For computer it was around 90%. Average salary offered was 3.5 LPA while the highest being 11lpa. Roles offered were Application/Software Development for Computer. Not sure about roles for other branches. Companies for placement includes Morgan Stanley, Nvidia, John Deere, Tata Technologies, Symantec, BNY Mellon Technology, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, CTS.

Good placements and internship opportunities.

Placements: Placements in the college of the previous batch were pretty good. Companies like Microsoft paid 35.5 Lacs CTC. For the 2019 batch companies like TCS, Finiq, Tata Elexsi, HSBC have already come. Many other companies are planning to come in next months.

VIT was the college of my dreams.

Placements: The placements for mechanical engineering students are not much good but are good for computer and IT students. The average salary package offered to my batch students was in between 6 LPA to 7 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Tata Motors, Mercedes, D-Shaw, etc., are the regular recruiters in the college. The college has a placement cell, and it's been working quite hard over the years which is one of the reasons that the college had 100% placement record in every stream except for mechanical.

Vishwakarma Institute of Technology.

Placements: I'm yet studying. But I've talked to my seniors regarding placements in EnE and ENTC, the placement are good! All the students from their respective branches get an opportunity for a half-sem internship and almost every student is placed in a reputed company. The highest placement in Entc was of 14L (2017-2018) and for EnE it was 12L (2017-2018).

It is a good college. It should more focus on application based learning.

Placements: Placements for my batch were good. Almost everyone from my batch was placed. The lowest salary package was 2.5 LPA, and the highest package was 14.5 LPA. Mostly IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro visited the college for placements. Mostly, roles offered were software engineers, analysts, etc. No official internship was required but many students opted internship on their own. We don't have any student placement cell. College placement cell is very efficient.

VIT, Pune is a good place to study.

Placements: The placements were good but vary from department to department. Overall, around 70% of the students got placed. For computer engineering students, the placements were above average, the placement percentage was around 95%. The average package offered was 4.5 LPA, and the highest package was 14 LPA. In 2014, the placements were low, but for our previous and next batch, it was 100%.

This is the dream college for computer, IT, and ENTC.

Placements: This is the best part of VIT as the placements are good. Some good MNC visits the college every year. If you are in CSE or IT, then it is going to be a dream college for you. For other branches, the companies offer average packages as the companies don't offer much for this branches. The highest salary package for 2017 is 35 LPA offered by Microsoft. Most of the students got an offer above 10 LPA, and the average is 5.5 LPA. TPO officer is a hard worker, and as a result, the placements are aweso...

Placements: Yes, we have internships in 4th semister. And after that we will got the preplacement in the compony. In this year 142 students got internship in the compony and did very good in that compony. I think placement is really good in VIT, Pune. And will also place.

Good opportunities, best curriculum, poor placements.

Placements: We had poor placements in this academic year 2017-2018. There is a central placement cell active for this purpose. Companies namely Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, TE connectivity, TCS, Eaton, etc., etc. Come to our campus for placements. The descent packages are offered by them.

Placements are good in VIT compared to the other colleges.

Placements: Placements for mechanical engineering are average, but most of the students go for higher studies. The college offers good programmes and summer internships. This helps us in placement. Placements for mechanical engineering students is 50-60%. Placements for CS students is 100% in VIT.

Good college and staff, but bad placements.

Placements: The college placements are quite good for circuit branches. Almost all students got placed from computer and information technology branches. But for non-circuit branches like chemical and instrumentation, placement is less compared to circuit branches. But this year, the placements were good as compared to previous years.

Placements: Placement for computer and IT is almost 100%. But for Mechanical and other branches its very poor. Very few core companies are there for Mechanical, chemical, insturu, elex and E&tc. Also placement for this branches is less than 50% Max pacakge offer in 2018 is 37.5 LPA for microsoft, while the lowest one is 1.4 LPA. Internship offered are good during semester (for final year). Placements: Placement record of computer dept is really good compared to other depts. So many companies visit VIT for placement including bulk and core companies. Even big companies like Microsoft, Amazon etc. Visits for recruitment. About 90% eligible students get placement. The highest package of my batch was 28Lpa given by Amazon bt for 2018 batch it is 34lpa by microsoft.

Fine placements, internships, bad infrastructure and good faculty.

Placements: It is best for computer science and information technology. Till now, the highest package was Rs. 37 LPA offered by Microsoft to four students of our college. For these branches, companies offer internships worth Rs 30,000 - Rs. 60,000. For mechanical, instrumentation engineering, ENTC, electronics and production engineering branches placements are good (sometimes okay). For chemical engineering department, companies come late, but more than 70% students get placed.
