Completely satisfied with the education and learning experience in the college.

Placements: Placements back in 2014 were limited to IT companies as the majority of students got picked up by the IT giants. The average package offered was about 3 LPA. The core sector at that time was weak, and hence placements were limited to a couple of companies with an average salary package being 2.8 LPA, but since then the placement cell has worked efficiently, and the placements have improved significantly.

Good department but poor placements.

Placements: There were 54 students in our production department in the latest academic year. From these, 40 students were interested for placements out of which 8 students got placed in various companies. Companies like Enpro industries, John Deere, Mahindra, Benz come to our college for campus placements which offer jobs and internships to our students.

Great working hours, good faculty, stupendous placements in 2017-18, disappointing infrastructure.

Placements: The placement drive for the academic year 2017-18 was pretty good as compared to the senior batch. About 40% of the students who registered got offer letters which is a very good number in the chemical engineering field. Companies like Navin fluorine, Pernod Ricard, Enpro industries, Alfa Laval, Technoforce, Wipro, Torrecid, etc. Conducted their placement drives. The maximum package offered was 5.5 LPA. And the average package was 3.5 LPA. The position offered was for the Graduate Engineering Tr...

Good course, Good staff, Placements could be improved with campus and canteen.

Placements: Placements during my batch was pretty good, justifying placement for industrial engineering would be inappropriate as those who wanted to be placed were placed around 90%. Companies that appeared for campus placement were Loreal, Welspun, Caresoft Global, Mahindra Logistics, Bristtlecone to name a few. The average package was 4lpa CTC and the highest salary given was 8Lpa for an industrial engineer. But the difficult part is the policy of 1 student one job which makes the decision of selecting t...

There are the best placements in chemical engineering in 2018.

Placements: I am a final year chemical engineering student and also the student placement coordinator. The placements of my department are on the peak this year (2017-18). We have got a maximum number of students placed on the campus. 40 students out of 70 students were interested in placements. Out of these 40 students, 18 students have got placed already. Also, 4-5 companies are going to come until May, wherein 6-7 more students are supposed to get placed. 25/40 is a good number, for chemical branch place...

Satisfied for computer engineering on the campus.

Placements: The placement at VIT, Pune is absolutely incredible. For the computer engineering, the placement is good. For the other branches, it's normal. Be proud to be a VITian. The mechanical engineering, electronics and telecommunications, and chemical engineering are at a normal position.

Dream college in Pune for Computer.

Placements: It's awesome. Many famous MNC visits the campus and gets the students hired. Placement is nearly 85 % for computer and average package is around 4.5 LPA. I can assure that if you are in top 50 among college students for sure you are going to awe it. The best part among this is you will get the internship opportunities which is best to start with.

I am proud that I am a VITian. Inspite of that placements should be increase which will definitely.

Placements: Upto last year the placements were awesome. This year it's quite less because firing increases but hiring decreases. This year almost 50-60% students are placed. Average pay package is of 3.5-4 LPA. Recently Microsoft recruit 4 students from our college offering 37LPA which is the highest. All most all renowned MNC's visits here. Ofcourse there is placement cell. College made compulsory 6 months internship in final year of engineering either in first SEM or last. Overall response for College pla...

Overall college is good if you got branch like CS, IT, ENTC, and MECHANICAL go for it.

Placements: The placements of departments are quite good. Also, training and placement office of college helps the student to get jobs on campus. Also, the department provides short training courses for overall development of the students so that they will be able to face any difficulty in industry. The curriculum is also designed as per requirement of the industry. Department has tie-ups with well-known industries. Hence, one can get internship opportunities as well.

This is the best college where placement and faculty is concerned.

Placements: The placements here are great. This year, 4 students got hired in Microsoft with a package of 34 LPA. Other than Microsoft, many companies hire students with a great package, such as Nvidia (around 14 LPA), Morgan Stanley (around 20 LPA), Amazon (around 20 LPA). Better than most of the state colleges in Maharashtra.

Placements: The placements for production engineering are average in the college. They were more or less the same for my batch and my senior batch. The batch was of 40 during my time. Almost 10 students got placed (out of 40, many of them didn't opt for placements). You get some very good core companies along with some companies which are open to all. It's not like everyone from the department gets placed, but if you have a decent pointer and good aptitude skills, you can clear interviews. The highest packa...

Placements: The placements offered in our college are good. The average package goes to Rs. 4-5 Lacs per annum and the highest package is around Rs. 40 Lacs per annum. The core companies like Microsoft and Tata motors visit the college for placements. Overall, the college is good for placements. The placements for CS students are very good. The average package offered to the CS students is Rs. 6 LPA.

Recently, Microsoft came for placement and offered 37 lacs per annum package for 4 topper students. The placement cell is more active than others. Famous companies from IT came for offering internship of stipend up to Rs. 25,000- Rs. 30,000. The criteria for the paid internship is above 60%.

The fun and knowledge both are available in the college.

Placements: If you are a CSE and IT student you don't have to worry much about your placement. The college tries to place as many students as possible. Good placement for CSE or IT students. The stipend given by Dream companies is Rs. 30,000. About 90% of the students are placed. So, the placement is a no issue.

I am quite satisfied and happy to have made the decision of joining this college.

Placements: The Vishwakarma Institute of technology Pune is good regarding placement. Especially the IT and Computer Engineering branch, students enjoy companies offering good packages. The packages vary from 3-35 Lakhs per annum (approximately). From this year, it has been made compulsory for students of all the years to go for summer internships. It's is indeed a good college.

Placements: The college has got a pretty decent amount of placements as compared to other colleges in Pune. The most placement than any department in the college gets the CSE and IT department followed by ENTC and electronics departments. Recently 4 students were placed in Microsoft with a CTC of 37.5 LPA.
