Very good placements, good teachers, nice food, but a bad locality.

Placements: VIT has a good placement record. Many companies visit every year and most of them are multinational companies. 70-75% students get placed/selected every year. The average package is 4.5 lakhs whereas highest package for electronics branch goes almost up to 12 lakhs.

Vishwakarma Institute of Technology.

Placements: We have 100% placements for computer, IT, E&TC, ETX and mechanical branches. Most of the IT companies like Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys and Accenture take almost 60% of the entire batch and the rest is taken by other big names like Tata Technologies, Nvidia etc. Overall, the placement is best in Pune. The college is the 2nd best in Pune after COEP.

It is a really good college as far as computer department is concerned.

Placements: Placements were pretty good. Almost everyone who qualified for the placements, got placed. The highest package offered was 14.5 LPA and the lowest was 2.4 LPA with an average package of 4 LPA. We also have an internship mela organised by the college students where a lot of companies offer internships to the students who are interested. We had a course in curriculum as well where we were taught how to prepare for the interviews and group discussions. Some of the companies visited our campus were ...

Very good academics, excellent internship and placement opportunities & amazing cultural festivals.

Placements: The placements are amazing at VIT. The pay scale varies with respect to the companies. Approximately, the average pay scale of a VITian is 5-6 LPA and minimum pay scale may dip down till 2-3 LPA depending on the roles offered by the companies. The highest pay may go up to 30-35 LPA depending on the companies visiting that particular year. Almost each and every branch gets companies for placement. At VIT, you get to learn main subjects along with foreign languages, musical instruments, business law, etc. as your elective. The faculty members are excellent and there is a lot of learning. This is the best college in Pune at least. Computer department and electronics department is the best thing to happen in VIT. There is a lot of exposure to new learning aids like Vishwakarma learning labs. Externals also come to teach us, apart from the curriculum.

VIT Pune is an autonomous and one of the top colleges in Pune. I can assure you that you will enjoy studying here, though the infrastructure and campus may not look like up to mark as college is old one. You will get a lot of time for your other activities, college itself provides you one extra foreign language with range of GP and OE like guitar, table, shares and stocks, psychology, socialogy and much more. If you get VIT do not think further unless you are getting NIT or IIT. Good luck!

VIT is amongst the top private colleges in Pune. Infrastructure is amazing, campus and crowd is brilliant. Canteen is decent but we have got many other options outside. Melange, Vishwakarandak, annual gathering are some festivals you would witness in college. Students work really hard to make these festivals a success. They all give great learning experience to students. Placements are good. Teachers are brilliant. Being an autonomous college, VIT takes every opportunity for the betterment of th...

Syllabus wise and extra curriculum wise it is best the college. If you want to go for MS after B.Tech, I would suggest anyone to go for this college. One should go for Computer Science if one wants 100 % placement. Companies like Mercedes and IBM come for placement. The average salary package is around 4-5 lakhs per annum.

Well-being an only autonomous institute indeed private institute in Maharashtra. Great college amongst the top faculty available. Being and autonomous institute fully uses it to provide students too many courses just other than core university courses. A very good college, the main focus is always on making entrepreneurs other than just, the white collar workers so called engineers. A good college worth education. The only things frustrates is the not so big campus. The college ground and the pa...

The college is excellent in terms of faculty and placement. CS and Mechanical Branches have better placement records compared to others. But, you can always get placed in an IT company, irrespective of your branch. Campus is not that huge, but its short and sweet. Buildings and facilities are good.

Computer and IT departments are very good. Highest package of 14 Lakhs on campus. Off campus 25 lakhs package for 2014 batch. Fees around 1.2 lakhs but worth. Even you can take admission by donation.
