VIT is brand in itself. Being an autonomous institute difficulty level of course is lower. But low level of difficulty does not mean low quality. They haven't deleted unnecessary parts in syllabus and time saved here can be utilized in extracurricular activities. Physical infrastructure is small but no compromise on labs .College supports innovation and environment in college is like top notch colleges.

VIT Pune is highly preferred college in Maharashtra region for B.Tech. There is huge placement for all the B.Tech branches. No ragging, at all but Infrastructure is not so good, and No placement for M.Tech candidates. Best for B.Tech students. No placement for M.Tech students at all. But all the mechanical Staff members are seniors and experts in their respective fields. Teaching methodology is also very comprehensive. But when it comes to the final project, there are some issues. College won’t ...

Placement is good even for mechanical. College campus is average. It’s an autonomous college, so you can also score good marks. If your 1st priority is placement, then this is the best college in town. There is also some scope for co-curricular activities. There are events like supra, baja, effi cycle, robocon, ieee, sae, etc. Mainly for mechanical engineering, you have a lot to do.

College is good. As it is first private autonomous institute. VIT's Electronics and Mechanical Department is very good compared to other department. The student who passed out from VIT will be having good value in the market. VIT have tie ups with many foreign universities which helps students to study in that particular university by student exchange program. Apart from this my college is not having any infrastructure.

Vishwakarma Institute of Technology of Pune is one of the best engineering college we have in Pune. Faculties are qualified and students are enthusiastic about learning. It has various forum like IEEE student branch, the Robotics forum, Robocon team. Around 15 MNCs recruited 100 students from different branches.

Firstly, it offers B.Tech, and not B.E. It also offers a range of intra and inter-curriculum courses that lay emphasis on the overall personality development. It is the only other college in the city which has an active college aero modelling club. It lacks open space though, just 7 acres of campus land. In Engineering, professors don't matter much. Here, they're more lenient than the other counter-parts. Crowd prefers communication in English, which is quite helpful to improve one’s language.

Best academic courses with best syllabus. It also has facilities for extracurricular activities. It also has best placements. Scope for core elex companies is less. Many activities happens in the college. Many groups are there. It has good Wi-Fi facility and auditorium with 4 canteens and a stationary center.

It is a decent college which has good faculty members, but bad college administration. Recommended to students who are geeks. Won't recommend to student who want to develop themselves overall (Cultural, Technical). Computer Branch is not recommended to those who bunk a lot but to those who like sitting in lecture for hours. Mechanical is recommended branch.

It’s very good college for Computer science, IT, Mechanical and Instrumentation as far as placement is concerned. Don’t go for any other branch. And most important is if you want to have 60+ percentage in your graduation to qualify for most of the exams without much study, then VIT is for u. It’s very easy to score more here. The standard is quite good than any other college in Pune.

Awesome College. Crowd and Faculty is very helpful. Few Lecturers were really too good. Placement can be rated avereage but rest all things were above average. You are given proper theoritical knowledge as well as hands on wherever required. Seniors were also very helpful and supportive. Along with academics there are lots of extra-circular activities that you can do. It really follows its tagline of "Joyful learning Model"

One of the best colleges in Pune. Not only Pune but in Maharashtra. Though private, it is one of the best autonomous colleges in Maharashtra. Great faculty and awesome campus life. Huge encouragement for academics, as well as extracurricular activities. After all, it believes in joyful learning. You realize it’s worth when you apply for PG and jobs.

VIT is an autonomous college that really counts a lot. There is a well balance of academic, cultural, technical, and social events. Also most of the faculty members are interactive and co-operative. The only bad of the college is its small campus but I don’t think it’s bad as it is easy to approach any part of the college easily.

Classes at VIT are more into Technical and are a healthy mix of formal lectures, and Labs. A weightage of 25% is given to internal exams and 75% to End Semester Exams. Tests are conducted on a regular basis. Students try and stay as up-to-date in all the Subjects. Students are not given any handouts as such but most of the teachers share their presentations with them. The Placements are 100% and are offered best Packages as most of the well known Companies visit the Placement Cell.

All faculty members and Seniors are very helpful.

Placements: The placements of CS branch is good. The highest package was 51 LPA (year 2022). Average package for B.Teach CS passouts is 18 LPA. The placement may decrease in upcoming years due to crowd but average package may remain same. The placement record of Entc branch is the highest.

Absolutely dissatisfied with college

Placements: almost 75% of students got placed last year. The highest package received by an individual is 42 lpa given by Nvdia.Top recruting companies in vit are deutsche bank, barclays, nvidia, seimens, oracle etc. And there are almost 20% students who got internship in 3rd year of college at the above listed companies. Most of the hiring was for software development roles

Placements: Above 95% of students were placed in my course. The highest package offered was 33 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. More than 70% of students got good internships. There were 25 students who got a 75k stipend, and also many students who got 30k to 15k stipends.

Unsatisfied with the college location and campus area, good placements, healthy environment

Placements: Since there is a lay off of internships in companies this year, majority of students are not placed yet and are struggling to get selected in the handful companies that are providing internships. Highest package offerred is of 900k and minimum is 540k. For my course few of the top companies are Barclay's, JP Morgan and MSCI.

Joining here is my greatest mistake ever, but I am still satisfied.

Placements: I have no idea, but I heard that it is higher than average. The TPO head is very chill and is the best head ever. Many seniors have bagged a good placement of INR 24–30 lpa, but it is all off campus, almost. But you need not worry about the placement; the placement cell is very good.
