B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering - Batch of 2027

"Exploring Opportunities at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology".
Placements: Basically, my batch is ENTC, also called Electronics and Telecommunication. In the ENTC batch, students have applied to both hardware and software fields, while some students have gone to the research field or pursued a Master’s degree from India or abroad. Major companies that came, as far as I know, are TCS, Cognizant, JIO, Samsung, and many more, while some students applied off-campus and got an excellent package of 18 LPA. While students in the 3rd year applied for internships in some companies, 30-40% of students got internships in this college, whether it is on-campus or off-campus.
Infrastructure: Vidyalankar Institute of Technology offers a vibrant campus life for students to blend their academics with social life, cultural, and various extracurricular activities. VIT’s classrooms are well-equipped with smartboards, projectors, and Wi-Fi, creating an innovative environment. There are also 3-4 well air-conditioned classrooms. For VIT, there is no hostel available, so if students are coming from other cities, they are used to finding their own stay near Wadala or Dadar.
Faculty: Yes, of course, teachers in VIT are very helpful, and every teacher in VIT is an expert in their own field. Many of the teachers are holding advanced degrees from IITs, foreign universities, and many more. The teaching quality is also very interactive, and it is industry-ready. Professors often incorporate case studies, real-world project building, and technological tools to make learning dynamic and engaging. Semester exams are not that difficult; they're between easy to moderate. As VIT is an autonomous college, the passing percentage is 40% for internals, mid-semester exams, and end-semester exams.
Other: My batch comprises students with diverse interests, from entrepreneurs to coding enthusiasts. Many of the students also excelled in inter-college fests, coding contests, technical competitions, and published research papers in reputed journals. Over 90% secured internships or full-time roles from this college, and the environment of the college is also very energetic and competitive, which helps students in real-world industrial use.

Amazing college life at VIT.
Placements: According to me, about 70% of students are placed on campus. The highest package is 15 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Jio, Qualcomm, and JP Morgan come to hire our college students. Our college has a compulsory internship in the 3rd year so we can improve our hands-on skills.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the best part of my college because it has the best infrastructure compared to other colleges. It has AC classrooms. It has the facility of V-refer, in which all the lectures are recorded and uploaded there, which helps students to study topics or revise them.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and give the best out of them to make us understand the topic. All the teachers are not good, but I can say that 80% of the faculty are good at explaining concepts. The theory part is helpful to a smaller part, but the practical is really very helpful.

Education and Facilities at VIT Mumbai.
Placements: Placements at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology are strong, with TCS, Infosys, and L&T offering roles. Eligibility includes a 60% minimum. Average package: 4 LPA, the highest: 12 LPA. 80% secure jobs, those who don't get have to apply from outside. It offers internships with companies like Infosys, TCS, and L&T.
Infrastructure: I like the library where you will get numerous books of your field which helps you in academics as well as increase your practical knowledge. The Wi-Fi is free inside the campus, and all classrooms have projectors. There is a place for playing indoor games, PC games, etc.
Faculty: The curriculum is well designed and focuses towards the industry level. There is a very practical approach in almost every course. Exams are timely conducted, and results are published on practical knowledge. As the college is autonomous, there is combined passing for every subject which reduces the risk of failures.
Other: I mainly chose VIT Mumbai for its autonomy curriculum; it is very industry-related and has a practical approach towards problems. The admission process was smooth, with fixed cutoffs for various branches, and CET scores are the first priority for them. Campus life at VIT is enjoyable and very active throughout the day. It also has various clubs like coding, cultural, traditional, and robotics. The club community is very supportive and friendly for freshers.

Build your bright Engineering Career with VIT, Wadala. Get placed in top companies with good package
Placements: Hi their, I am doing B. Tech in Information Technology from Vidyalankar Institute of technology. The percentage of student getting placement is about 75-80%. The highest package in our course is 37.5 Lacs per annum from UNIQLO and a 35 Lacs per annum by a Japanese company named 'Work Application'. Average package of our course is 3.5 - 4 Lacs per annum. And talking about the lowest package it is 1.5 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies for I. T course is Work Application, UNIQLO, TCS, Wipro, Jio. In my knowledge most of the student get placed which have good CGPA. Many student have got internships in IIT Allahabad, IIT Mumbai, oil corporation, L&T and many more. As a developed and many more different roll had offered to student.
Infrastructure: College Wi-fi is available and accessed is given to you on your email once you get admitted. Labs are cleaned with 30-35 PCs per lab and comfortable chair and air conditioning. Innovation labs are their where student can work on their project and faculty is present their to guide them with their innovative ideas. Library rooms are their where you can read books and reading room are also their where student can do group study. No hostels are their near college. Canteens are clean and quality and taste of food is also good. Their are two canteens in college. One where western type food is available and other where indian food is there. Their are Ending machines to get snacks. College has stationary for student covinience. Medical room is their, lost and found department is their. Sport ground is their where student can enjoy outdoor games and then is their where student can play indoor game and gaming on pcs.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable and have industrial and practical knowledge and are well updated with industrial trends. They doesn't only teach us theory but share the practical knowledge. Our course Mostly don't take subject which are outdated and try to add new subjects to make us industry ready. We have subject like design thinking where we have to find out some unique ideas for solving real life problems and work on it. Subject like Advance Java which other university doesn't provide in their course. Semester exam are moderate and student needs 40% to passed the exam.
Other: I got this college through government cap round and the best thing of college is it's flexibility. Student doesn't need to have so much stress about assignments. Faculty is supportive and each student is assigned with a mentor to which they can talk and seek help. College fest are mainly in february. College arranged 'Verve Vit' every year where many events, concert happens. Then college have Garba night. College provide scholarships. Campus is surrounded with greenery. Every festival is celebrated a day before in college. Many student committees are their which arranged events with Some great personalities.

My Experience at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology.
Placements: The placements at VIT are decent with providing many opportunities for students ranging from teach to non-teach roles as well. The highest is usually around 10+ LPA for at least the last 2 years, and the lowest has been 3 LPA with an average of almost 4 LPA. Almost all the students who opt for placements get placed. Many companies like TCS, Jio, etc. come to hire students from the campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent and top-notch. It has everything - air-conditioned labs and classrooms, well-lit classrooms, labs with proper and updated equipment, and also spaces like an indoor gym and a huge auditorium. I live in a PG and usually eat through the college canteen, which has good and tasty meals at an affordable price. The PG is at a walking distance too.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and experienced. They have a good amount of research knowledge too and are up-to-date with newer technologies. They have good teaching techniques as well. The course has good subjects that are in demand, like AI/ML, and important subjects like programming basics with DSA and DBMS.
Other: I chose this course as I was primarily interested in technology as a career and doing this course would be helpful to get me started on my tech career. The only thing it could be more practical and related to the industry more. There's an annual fest, Verve, which is the biggest fest in VIT.

Student life at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology.
Placements: In 4 years, the placement season starts. Major companies that visited are Microsoft, Google, Apple, Deloitte, and many more. The highest salary package offered is 35 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 7 LPA- 8 LPA. I don't have exact data, but current placement rate is on the decline. Specifically, talking about this year in my course (IT), no student has been placed yet. Regarding internships, we do get internships from reputed companies that offer roles in web development, app development, etc. The majority of interested students get these internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is much better compared to what someone gets at other colleges at the same percentile. Canteen food is also very healthy and of good quality, but it's slightly on the pricier side. Every class in the college is provided with air conditioners and a digital board. There is also a library that offers books based on the relevant curriculum. Wi-Fi is also publicly available to students, but there are some areas in the college where we can't access it. Two grounds are available for sports facilities. Washrooms are also cleaned regularly. No hostel facilities are provided by the college. The only option is to rent a room or share a common flat with other students in nearby places.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite approachable and friendly. But, some faculty members cannot teach well and are not experienced. Rest assured, students will get the best faculty members with PhD qualifications. Course curriculum is quite relevant and industry-ready, including coding languages like C, DSA in C, OOPs in Java, Advanced Java, etc. Still, some hardware courses are not relevant according to my branch (IT). Exam pattern is as follows every Monday, there is a test of all subjects (one subject per week) and the average of that subject counts as MSE (mid-semester exam). End-semester exams (ESE) take place at the end of each semester. Majority of students pass, as the paper is of moderate difficulty.
Other: I chose this college because I applied for it during the CAP rounds of CET and got it based on my percentile (96.12). The best thing about my course is its relevance. Talking about annual fests, there is one called VERVE, which takes place around February-March every year. Many extracurricular activities happen regularly in the college, organised by committee members of various committees like ITSA, CSI, etc.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
