Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent by the AIU or Intermediate or 2-year Pre-University exam conducted by a recognized Board/ University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Candidates must have passed class 12th/equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2022. There is no age limit for the candidates. Candidate with below mentioned eligibility are also eligible: Final examination of the 2-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the NDA. SSC Examination conducted by the NIOS with a minimum of 5 subjects. A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State board of technical education of at least 3 year duration. 2021 onwards Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow will be using the score sheet of JEE (Main) for admission instead of UPCET (Earlier UPSEE). Review of Vivekananda College of Technology and Management.

Placements: In our college, almost 60% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA to 5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2.3 PA to 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like IBM, Wipro, Hero, Electric, etc., visit our campus. Internships are not available.

Infrastructure: Our college has excellent infrastructure. All students have access to labs, a library, and Wi-Fi for educational purposes. The hostel at our college is not very good, but it is still better than that provided by other colleges in the city. The mess food is good quality. The canteen, sports, and games are available. Medical facilities are available.

Faculty: Our faculty members are excellent. They have a good experience. The teaching quality is good. Our teachers also teach us by giving us live examples with the different machines. The course curriculum is good. It helped us learn a lot about the theory as well as the practical approach. The semester exams are very easy. You can even easily qualify for the exam by studying one night before your exams.

Other: I chose this course because I had a diploma in electrical engineering and it was one of the best options to choose from. I have a little bit of interest in this branch too. Our course is good, but to make it even better, our college should help us get internships so that we can work on industry-level projects. Our college does not host any cultural festivals or events. There are no extracurricular activities, clubs, or groups where students can learn more about their course and gain practical knowledge.
