The college has good exposure but poor placements.

Placements: Placements and internships in VNIT Nagpur are average. Placements and internships are good in the CSE department, but in other departments, they are not impressive. Some companies coming to VNIT for CSE and ECE internships are Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Standard Chartered and many others.

Really good college and I enjoy.

Placements: For architecture we usually have very less placements because most students go for individual startups. Where as for those who go for placements gets a package of above 15-20k per month. Every year there are minimum two companies visiting college for placement in architecture and they recruit 8-10 students.

I am dissatisfied because of faculty members.

Placements: There are not many opportunities for placements for mathematics students. Students need a minimum of 8 CGPA for placements. The highest salary package offered by Paytm is 9 LPA. Maths students compete with computer science students in placements.

The top recruiting companies are Bajaj, L&T, Maruti etc. Top roles offered being in R&D dept. Internships are also provided in abundant if you are active in the college. You will get the best college life here.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. The salary package offered ranges between 6-7 LPA. Top 20 students got an internship at the college, but an internship is not compulsory. Companies like L&T, ExxonMobil, Tata Construction and other non-core companies visit our college for placements. About 60-80% of the student get placement here. L&T company hire students for an internship.

Had a great campus life and an excellent academic exposure.

Placements: According to my branch architecture, the placements are comparatively less. This is due to the willingness of the students to start their own firm. So many don't go for placements. When other factors of placements are considered, it is good.

Our college is good, but in maintenance, in every aspect, it is becoming the worst day by day.

Placements: The campus interviews are generally done under training and placement section. Maximum students get placed in companies that provide an internship to them. The college placement section has to improve students needs. Our college does not provide paid internship. Students got placed in companies, which are local or near their home town.

Satisfied with my course and good placements for our branch. Good facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: Well talking about CSE the placements are damn good with an average package of around 10 to 12 Lacs per annum. In our passed out batch (2020 pass out) all the students were placed. Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, DeShaw, App Dynamics are some of the top recruiting companies. The highest package is offered by App Dynamics which is of 40LPA and the least is of 5LPA offered by Nice Software. There were a lot of companies like Citi, JP Morgan, Toshiba and so on. More than 50-60% of students got internships.

I suggest you not to take admission in VNIT.

Placements: Mass recruiting companies visit our college and hire students with an average salary package ranging from 3 LPA-4 LPA. The placement rate will be as low as 50%, while less than 30% of the students get summer placements. Good recruiters prefer to recruit only computer science branch students and sometimes electronic and telecommunication branch students. Other branches don't get good recruiters.
