We can get a good exposure & according to my suggestion, it is good at all.

Placements: Regarding placements, it was good. Based on our percentage of marks and our performance, they will recruiter us according to their requirements. As per my knowledge, 70% of students got placed in well-reputed companies with a good package. It is good according to my suggestion.

Worth investing 4 years, won't be disappointed even a bit.

Placements: Placement at VNIT is considerably good (~>85%) excluding Metallurgical and mining department. Particularly for Metallurgical engineering 2015 batch on campus placement was somewhere around 45-50% only. Metallurgical departments placement is very low taking into account the performance of steel market during 2014-15. the highest package of Metallurgical department was around 10lpa and average was around 4lpa.

VNIT review for the students who are really worried and conscious about colleges.

Placements: The placements of the CSE branch students are very good in college. This year the ratio was very high for 3rd year students also. One of the girl from third year got an offer of 23 Lacs by amazon. Famous companies visit the college and offer great opportunities to students. Many of the students got internship abroad in 2nd and 3rd year.

The placements were 80-90% in the year 2016.

Placements: The placements are almost 50% in all the departments. Except for CS department as they achieve 80-90% of placements. If you're in top 30 of your class, then there is a lot of opportunities. Try to keep up your printer more than 7, and it helps a lot in placements procedure. The average Salary offered was 5 - 7 lacs per annum. For the internship, you can apply in your 3rd year of the college. There is a placement cell in administration building which looks upon placements procedure.

Things you must know before going to VNIT, Nagpur.

Placements: Placement is good in mining engineering. Although, some core companies visit our campus in alternate years like MOIL. Previous year (2017) placement was quite good, around 35 students out of 40 got placement. Although, many students got placement in non-core. The highest package offered last year was 10 LPA, while the lowest was 4 LPA.

Placements: Seimens is the core company for our dept Which offers campus internships in the second year itself. For this year, 75 students are already placed till now from our final year batch. Airtel is the core company offering 9lpa package (the highest) and it recruits maximum 3 of the students.

Great place to study and get acquaint with the need of the world.

Placements: The placement scenario is good in VNIT. The placement season starts in the July itself. There are both core and non-core companies. Overall, it is good. The average package offered is 4.5 lacs per annum fixed. The CTC may vary. The companies like Amazon, Goldman, and Deloitte visits on a regular basis. You have to work on yourself a bit, give your best, and your placement chances increases.

I had a very amazing stay at VNIT during those 4 years.

Placements: Placements were quite good as being NIT. The placement cell took their responsibility seriously. If you prepare well, there is no need to worry about the placement. Being from NIT always gives an edge. In my batch, we had 100% placement and also in my seniors batch. The average package offered was 7 LPA to 8 LPA. Some of the companies which visited for placements were Siemens, TCS, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, SAP Labs, Wipro, Oracle, Airtel, ZS Associates. They offered trainee engineer positi...

The under-rated department in a reputed college. In 2015, the placements were great.

Placements: The placements for my batch and senior batch were good. From the senior batches, two guys got placed in PepsiCo with a dream package of 8.5 LPA. HUL interviews only girls from the chemical engineering department. But, the package was more than 8 LPA. Reliance Industries Limited, VA Wabag tech, Pidilite industries limited, Lupin pharmaceutical, UHDE (ThyssenKrupp) recruit the engineers in the shift field engineer and the design engineer position. Placements: There are very good placements. 53 students out of my batch of 60 in chemical engineering got placed in very good companies. Top companies like Reliance, Orient and others come in case of the chemical branch. On an average, the package offered was 5 lacs /year. For other departments like mechanical and CS, it was as high as 10 lacs.

Placements: The college has a decent placement record. Last year, the highest package recorded was Rs. 22 lakhs. From my branch which is mining engineering, around 100% placements were recorded. But again, the placements vary from branch to branch. The companies visiting are Amazon, Mahindra, Tata, L&T, Coal India and many more.

Placements: The placements in VNIT is good, and about 70 to 80 percent of the students are placed every year also the package offered is excellent. Many big companies come to VNIT like the Flipkart, Amazon, Microsoft, Bajaj, KFC, etc. The placements are dependent on internships and skills, so the college provides internship experience to at least 3 students in the college which also has training and the placements department. Placements: VNIT is a well-known college in central India. The placements are as good as the standards of an NIT. Almost 90% of the students are placed every year in the core and non-core sectors. VNIT- a home which provides you friends, knowledge, placements, courage and strength.

Placements: There is a trend in our college saying that alternate years the placements get reduced but I didn't find anything like that this year. Last year placements were good and this year the placement record is high than the last year ones. And regarding placements, more than 50% of students who are eligible to sit for placements are placed by the end of 7th semester. Placements: The placements for computer science engineering have always been remarkable. There has always been a placement record of nearly 75% every year. Mostly the roles offered are core based, i.e. IT-based (at least for CSE students). The placement season starts in the last week of July or the first week of August.
