Placements: 93% of student were placed, and the remaining went for further studies. Fidelity, JPMorgan Chase, Credit Suisse are the top recruiting companies. 70% of the students got an internship at the companies mentioned above including John Deere, Citi Bank etc. Software Engineer is the top role offered.

Placements: Last year 2 out of 60 students were placed. There are no companies to place students. We need to work as an intern in a firm. Internships are mainly 80%. Placements are not guaranteed for architecture since it depends on our time invested in internships.

Placements: In the metallurgy department 80-90% students got placed. The highest package as far as I remember was 18LPA (Lacs per annum) and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. TATA STEEL and JINDAL STEEL were one of the top recruiting companies. 95% students had experienced at least one intern by the end of third year summer. Roles vary from a research/visiting scientist at some universities and in RnD departments of the above mentioned companies. Also roles like product manager were offered.

Placements: About 70% of the students get placed in some or the other company. The highest package is 11 LPA for the year 2020. Average package is 6 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies are Tata Steel, Vedanta & Hindalco. On-campus internships for 3rd-year students are not much, however, a lot of students received off-campus internships.

Around 60%-70% of the students from our course get placed every year in core companies like Tata Steel, Hindalco, Reliance, Visakhapatnam Steel, Vedanta, etc. The highest salary package was offered by Tata Steel, and it was 11 LPA. Placements: Placements of Chemical Engineering in VNIT are quite good. Students get placed in both core and non-core companies. More than 70 percent of eligible students get placed. Companies like Goldman Sachs offer really good packages in the non-core sector.

Placements: On average of 80%-90% of the students get placed from our college. The highest salary package offered in the year 2020 was 42 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 5 LPA. Around 10%-20% of the students get internship opportunities in their third year of the course.

Placements: 80% of students get placed. The highest package: 14.5 LPA, the lowest package: 3.5 LPA, average package: 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are bajaj, LnT, Maruti etc. 30% got internship in bajaj, LnT, Lear Corp etc. Top roles offered are of Graduate Engineer Trainee mostly at R&D department.

Placements: Top recruiting company is Atlas. The highest package in this college for this course is 9 Lacs per annum and average package is 6.5 Lacs. The lowest package is 3.5 Lacs. Around 40% students got internship and to the best of my knowledge, 75% are placed.

Placements: Around 75%-80% of the students get placed as many students opt for higher education which is also encouraged by our institute. The highest salary package offered for the core field is about 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is about 7.5 LPA. L&T is the top recruiting company which visits our institute every year and hires many students. The internship process is not that great, especially for Civil Engineering branch, but students get various project opportunities.

Placements: VNIT has a good placement rate, and as of now, about 70% of the students have been placed from our course. The highest salary package offered which I heard was 20 LPA and lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 9 LPA. Companies which offer placements here are Harman, Simmons, etc. A few students or less than students got internships from the core branch, i.e., electronics.

Placements: In the metallurgy and materials engineering department, many students prefer higher studies and management. Otherwise, the placement scenario is around 60-70%and mostly students go for non-core jobs. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA. Top recruiters of our college are TATA, Reliance, and other companies related to metals. The internship is grabbed by almost all students paid or unpaid.

Placements: I am Akshay Vinay Ingle and student of B.Tech (chemical engineering) at VNIT, Nagpur. Our batch is currently in the 3rd year and will be passed out in 2021. In the previous year, about 84% of the students got placed from B.Tech (chemical engineering) programme. Placements: Placements here are quite good. In our course, few people get internships through campus as the recruiting companies are less. For job placements, many companies are open to students so that students can take jobs in core as well as non-core sectors.

Most of the students were placed in the IT sector with higher salary packages.
