Absolutely satisfied because of practical exposure that is much needed for computer science.

Placements: The placements are very good. Most importantly, the training and placement department is really good and ensures that most of the students get placed. The cut-offs are nice. Talking about the current season, it's just one month that our college has started, we have 90 students and 50 are already placed, and still, there are about 6-8 companies that are yet to come. At the end, the students who aren't selected are either the ones who have backlogs or have very low grades i.e. less than 5.5 or 6.

Absolutely satisfied by the placements.

Placements: The placements were really very good for those who want to go to the IT sector. The highest package offered was about 24 lakhs per annum by Goldman Sachs and the lowest package is 3.1 lakhs per annum. Many IT companies offered a very good salary. But coming to the core part, only a few students are being placed but the salary offered to them is around 5-8 lakhs. Overall, placements are good but the only disadvantage is core companies are very few and IT companies are many. Around 80% of the stud...

Everything in the college was going well. Good placements from the last couple of years.

Placements: The placements for our seniors were very good and almost 70% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered in the campus was 23 lakhs for the present year by Goldman Sachs. Companies visiting the college are Amazon, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, etc. About 70% of the students were offered internships at the highest stipend of Rs. 65000 per month, Rs. 10000 per month as the lowest and Rs. 30000 per month as the average.

Perfect place to develop a student in all grounds.

Placements: The placements of my college were pretty good. A large number of companies participated and recruited a very good number of students. There were around 100 students in my branch (CSE) and nearly 80 students got placed from the campus. Packages ranging from 27 LPA (including Amazon, Morgan Stanley, D.E Shaw and Directi) to 5 LPA (Wipro) were offered to students. For the internship, we had a very good number of third-year students getting amazing internships via the campus. The highest offered st...

VNIT is without a doubt the best NIT to be in for future aspects.

Placements: Good placements. The staff has a helping nature. There are some really great alumni. Big companies like Facebook come for placements. For mechanical, the average package will go up to 5 lakh per annum. For computer and all, it is on the higher side. It hosts an incubation chamber for startups. For meta department placements are bad. Same goes for the chemical department as well.

A large number of the automobile as well as core companies find VNIT a great place to find employees. If you have a CGPA of at least 6.5 to 7 in VNIT, you will surely get placed in a good company, earning an average of 4.5-5 L per annum. Placements: The placements are decent. But no PSU came for placement for our batch except for Coal India and that also for mining only. The average salary is 4.5-5 lpa for core branches like electrical, mechanical and civil. Computer science people get placed in good companies with good packages. Placements: The placement scenario at VNIT (just like in any other college) largely depends on the branch you are in. Yes, you've guessed it right! Computer Science is the most coveted branch and boasts a 100% placement statistics, with an average salary of about 5 LPA and the highest going up to 24 LPA. Placements: Placements for my batch were exceptional and so were for the batch ahead of me. Every year it keeps improving. My branch is the youngest branch in the college and hence, only 40% to 50% people manage to get placed in core sector. The course curriculum is outdated. You can't get placed in software companies as you will not study important subjects. The faculty is excellent, especially Keskar, Gandhi, Joyd and Bhurchandi sir. You need to be proactive to get most of the college. It is an excellent choice to go for higher education. Getting placed in core companies is really difficult as options are limited.
