Good placements, great faculty and facilities, and also it will have the best infrastructure.

Placements: Placement drive is working very nicely since last few years. The career counselling and the placement cell here have been very active in the last few years. Various placement drives have been organised, calling in companies like ABBOT, ICICI, Reliance, Forex, Concentrix, FRR, for placements. And nowadays, a two-day placement and internship program is being organised, by inviting many more companies, e.g. HDFC, Genpact, Eat My News, Bharti Life Insurance, and many others. And the registration (bo...

A review on Zakir Husain Delhi College, Delhi University.

Placements: There was no placement committee until the time I graduated. We get no support from the faculty. There is no scope for placement in this college. Even if it is, then only BPOs come to recruit the candidates. If you want to only academics, then study here. There are no extracurricular activities as such.

Fine infrastructure and best psychology department.

Placements: Frankly, I don't know about the placements of my college. But definitely, the placement cell of this college organises internship and job fair every year for the placements. As for MU course is concerned, the people generally pursue masters in their career ahead, so I don't know much about it, but for internships, one has to work on their own for that.

Zakir Hussain Delhi Evening College.

Placements: The placement cell of this college organises a placement drive for the final-year students as well as for the first-year and the second-year students. The placement percentage for the recent batch is 60%. Around four students out of the ten from the first-year got selected for the internship. Various companies visited the college for the recruitment process.

Overall, I am highly satisfied as there are so many societies, infrastructure and the best faculty.

Placements: To be very honest, there is a weak placement cell, which is not able to provide us placement, according to our knowledge. The reason being employers became negative because of our college location and its history. Only a few companies visit our college and that too for commerce students only. But, it is continuously improving. For the internship, there are certain options, but they are not worth. You have to find on your own.

My experience in the college till date.

Placements: Currently, I am pursuing my B.Com. (Hons.) in this college, so to put it honestly, I'm not much familiar with the placements here. But to my knowledge, many reputed companies like RBS, IDBI bank, Paytm and Genpact have recruited students from my colleges. Many internships and placement drive are also held in the college for the betterment and the exposure of the students. There is a separate placement cell of the college, and it consists of more than 15 students. I was a part of the internship w...

Dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: ICICI Bank and a call centre company visited the campus for recruitment. Both of them didn't offer the concrete jobs. So the placements were quite poor. Most of the students were disappointed as their English communication wasn't that good and both the jobs required that.

Oldest college, great college, good faculty, good infrastructure but no ground for sports.

Placements: Zakir Hussain Delhi College is known for very old college, and placement is also somewhat we can say good but not excellent. There are many companies who come for placement in college like Grocers, Justdial, Jack and Jones, Big Basket and many more companies. My seniors got placement in companies but the salary was not big for freshers, it is only around Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 10,000. There are posts like telephone-callers, and assistant executives offered. The placement is not excellent, but it is av...

Zakir Hussain Delhi College review.

Placements: The placements were not very good, also, to be honest, it depended on the placement cell as well. In 2016, companies like ICICI, Concentrix, Bajaj, etc. came to recruit. The recruitment process was very good and they took a good number of people. The placements are getting better.

Best co-ed college for psychology in Delhi University

Placements: Students got the best placements there could have been with a B.A. honours in psychology. Around 70 students got placed while others went for higher studies. The salary ranged from 10-20 thousand per month. Mostly, media companies visited the campus, and digital platform industries like Yahavi also visited. Around 20 percent students got internships from college and the stipend was around 5 thousand.

Breaking the stereotypes. Very good institution.

Placements: To be very honest, psychology students don't get direct placements just after the graduation. We have to be at least a post-graduate to get hired from the companies. After PG, psychology students who did masters in HRM sector receive a package of at least 7-8 lacs, which is really very good. The percentage of students who got the internship from the college is about 70%.

Zakir Hussain Delhi College review.

Placements: Everybody knows there are no placements in most of the science courses and you've to go for M.Sc only or some other exams if you want to. I personally will prefer to give competitive exams as it's a really long way to do Ph.D. and make a decent future in science.

Placements: Companies like HDFC, Citi Bank, LIC, Vodafone etc. visit the campus offering salaries in the range of rupees 2 lakh to 4 lakh a year. And apart from that, the students are eligible for placements at the Campus Placement Cell (CPC) at the North Campus of the Delhi University.

Value for money. The facilities are amazing, but limited ECA.

Placements: Not a lot of great companies appear for placements, but yes, some of the good companies do come. For example, PNB and Metlife. The placement rate was as low as 10% and the average salary was rupees 2.5 LPA. Internships were not at all available, so I believe the placement was not that good.

It is the best college in Delhi University. One of the oldest college established by the Dr. Zakir Husain. It is a post graduate college. It also have evening classes for those students who does any job or preparing any kind of professional or completive exam etc. It has a good playground, a big library, a big computer room and big air condition seminar halls. It is located at very convenient place, near New Delhi railway station. It is located opposite Ramleela maiden. So in my opinion it is t...

Placements: Around 50-70% of students from our batch get placed. Some companies visit our college to recruit students with a minimum salary of Rs.10,000 to 1 LPA. Every year, companies come and talk with students and share their policies.
