A college which is specifically designed for academically focused students.

Placements: The placement scene is pretty inactive in this college. Most students cannot find any good placements here, mostly B.Com (Hons) students get placement opportunities and Mathematics Honours students. So placements are course-dependent. Most students of DU visit the Central Placement Cell (CPC) of Delhi University for placements.

Review of Zakir Husain Delhi College, University of Delhi.

Placements: There is a high number of chances that most of the students can get a B.A. in psychology. As it is the least chosen course, the chances of getting a B.A. in psychology are slightly higher than the other courses. As discussed with seniors, the highest package that somebody got was Rs. 200,000. And followed by average, the lowest package is somewhere around 100,000 in my course. There are no such regular recruiting companies that come every year, as per my knowledge. Rather, it is different every ...

If you don't get into North Campus college, you can consider Zakir Hussain Delhi College.

Placements: From my course, there was no placement. There were some placements from the arts department. The companies which visited my college were not so big. The college has a yearly placement drive of 2-3 days. As I was from the Science department, we did not have placement options.

Good college in every aspect.

Placements: Being a good college in providing academic support, the college lags behind in good placement opportunities. However, the placement cell of the college has shown considerably growth in the recent times. Approximately 80% of the students get internships in various MNCs.

"Supportive faculty and relevant curriculum, but infrastructure and placements need improvement"

Placements: Zakir Husain College does not have the best placement record compared to other top DU colleges, but it has a dedicated placement cell that organizes a job fair each year. Many students get opportunities to showcase their skills to recruiters. The college has seen companies like Reliance, Tata, Concentrix, and Paytm participate. Around 20-30% of students from different courses are typically placed. The highest package can go up to 5-6 LPA, the average package is around 3 LPA, and the lowest packa...

The college is good and we have supportive seniors. There is no ragging in the college.

Placements: There are not many students getting placed in this course. They offer a medium range of package worth 25000 to 30000. Only 20% percent of the students get internships out of hundreds. There is a minimum placements offer for the students, and in some courses, there are no placements at all.

The college is good in terms of academics.

Placements: The college has its placement cell, which provides internship opportunities throughout the year. It also conducts a placement mela at the end of the year before examinations. The placement cell brings internship opportunities suitable for all courses, and sometimes specific subject internships are available. However, the stipends offered by those companies are sometimes too low. The placement cell organizes placement mela, but mostly sales companies come.

Absolutely not so much satisfied but the crowd on campus and the teachers and seniors are good.

Placements: At least 40 percent of students get placed every year. The highest package is 12 lacs per annum and the lowest is 7 lacs per annum. Companies like HDFC, Axis, etc. are coming to our college for recruitment. 30 percent of students get an internship every semester.

Average college but worth it.

Placements: The placements cell at Zakir Husain Delhi College is very inactive and they don't provide any placements even in courses like that of B.Com (Hons); but you will get the means to learn better and get better opportunities in post graduation. The placements cell has student volunteers who can be informed about in case of any inconvenience.

Teachers are good-hearted and friendly.

Placements: There is a placement cell in Zakir Husain College, but the activity of the cell has not been visible in the college, which is why I am not very aware of it. I do recall a fest organized by the placement cell in the college while I was studying in the first year. That's the extent of my knowledge on this matter.

Average college because of library, good teachers, and new buildings.

Placements: Around 25% of students were placed last year. The roles offered in my course are mainly sales, human resources, campus manager, and product manager. There is a placement cell in college that conducts such placements and various seminars to prepare students to do well in interviews.

Good college overall; go for it.

Placements: There are fewer placements than at other DU colleges because it is an off-campus college and please don't expect anything good and expect such things as Netflix college life because this college is much different. The average placement is about INR 3 lacs per annum.

Our college does not provide good infrastructure, fans are not available in the canteen or library.

Placements: Our batch is good. All subjects require 10-15 page assignments. The attendance system is not working. If someone has 90 marks, they will get 4 marks for attending.

I am not satisfied with this college, but the crowd is nice if you make good friends there.

Placements: In our college, very few students got their placements. The highest salary package offered in our course is 10 LPA. The average salary package is 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Business companies are most likely to recruit us. I can't say about the percentage, but keeping the view of college, very few students got their placements done. Top role offered in our course is manager.

Our college has a good campus with good infrastructure.

Placements: Campus placements are not that good. The placement cell is not completely active. Mostly, students in B.Com. get placements. B.A. students do not get placed easily. The college is not concerned about placements from its side.

Zhdc college (average/bad)?

Placements: Almost 50 percent of the student get placed every year th the highest package ever fetched is 900000 p. a by a B.Com (Hons) student. About th average package in B.Com (Hons) it is 20000 p. a top recruiting companies are Deloitte Citi Bank etc. Few selected student gets internship and that too is tiresome. So the no of students getting internship is almost equally to nil. About roles offered in my course B.Com (Hons) it is mostly assistant type jobs.

It is good college if you can afford living expenses.

Placements: Not enough students are placed by the college. The degree being pursued is more kept in mind for higher studies. It is just considered a bachelor course while it makes us learn too many things, so never underestimate any course keeping placements in mind.
