The application is for admission to B.Des and BFA courses offered at constituent colleges of Dr. YSR Architecture and Fine Arts University. The last date to submit applications without late fees is May 20.

Q:   What is the purpose of the NIFT 2025 exam analysis?

A:

The exam analysis for the NIFT 2025 written exam will be available soon after the completion of the CAT and GAT written exams. The exam analysis will throw insights into the written exam, including the difficulty level, types of questions asked, marking scheme, and expected cut-off. In addition, the analysis will highlight if candidates faced any technical issues during the exam. The candidate by consulting the exam analysis will be able to assess their performance and check what went right and what went wrong. Future aspirants also can go through the NIFT exam analysis to learn about the exam.

Q:   What is the exam pattern for the NIFT CAT paper?

A:

Candidates seeking admission to the B. Des and M.Des course also need to take the Creative Ability Test CAT written exam, in addition to the GAT. The CAT exam will be conducted in an offline, pen-pencil mode. CAT will be a drawing-based exam of 3 hours duration. The CAT will evaluate various skills of the candidate including Intuition skill, power of observation, innovation in the development of a concept as well as design ability. Further, it will examine the creative as well as innovative use of color and illustration skills of aspirants. It is mandatory for B. Des and M.Des candidates to appear in the CAT paper, or else they will not be invited for the Situation Test.

Q:   What are the various elements that will be covered in NIFT 2025 exam analysis?

A:

The NIFT 2025 exam analysis will be available soon after the written exams are over. The analysis will cover the following elements: The section-wise difficulty level of the exam The overall difficulty level, especially when compared to previous years The types of questions Specific questions asked in the exam Weightage of questions asked Expected cut-off Whether there were any technical glitches during the exam.

Admission to the B.Des and BFA courses at constituent colleges will be through the ADCET 2023 exam. The exam date for ADCET 2023 hasn’t been announced yet. The exam will be administered in a computer-based mode across 14 cities in the country. The question paper will include 100 MCQs, while the test duration will be 120 minutes.

The application form for ADCET 2023 opened on April 21, 2023. The candidate has the option to apply for ADCET 2023 with or without late fees. Without late fees, the application form can be submitted up to May 20, 2023. 

With the 1st late fees, applications will be accepted up to May 25. Meanwhile, the last date to submit applications with 2nd late fees is May 28, 2023.

How to apply for ADCET 2023

  1. Go to the ADCET admission portal and click on the application link 
  2. The candidate has to first pay the application fees
  3. After payment of the fees, the candidate has to fill in the rest of the application form
  4. Enter the center name and center code
  5. Upload documents as per the given specifications
  6. Submit the application form
  7. Take a printout of the completed application form.

Before applying for admission, candidates are urged to carefully go through the eligibility criteria given in the table below.

Q:   What is the NIFT 2024 exam pattern for the GAT paper (M. F. M)?

A:

As per the official exam pattern released by NIFT, the question paper for GAT M.FTech will be of 180 minutes. The exam will be conducted in a LAN-based, CBT mode. The GAT paper will have 150 multiple-choice questions. These questions will be asked from - Communication Ability and Comprehension, Case Study, Quantitative Ability, Analytical & Logical Ability, and GK and Current Affairs. Also, the GAT paper will be bilingual, meaning the candidate can appear in the GAT paper either in English or Hindi language. The choice of language has to be made when filling out the NIFT 2024 online application form.

Q:   Who will release the exam analysis of NIFT 2025?

A:

Shiksha will bring detailed exam analysis for the CAT and GAT paper.

The exam analysis of NIFT 2025 will be released soon after the entrance exam concludes.

The exam analysis will also be uploaded on the Shiksha YouTube channel. In addition, there will be various articles and news items that will be catered by Shikha to cover all aspects of the NIFT 2025 exam. By going through the exam analysis of NIFT 2025, the candidate will get to know what is the section and overall difficulty level of the exam, chapter-wise weightage, expected cut-off, etc.

As per the student reaction, the difficulty level of the NIFT 2024 exam was easy to moderate. Among the sections, many students found the English section to be easy. Some students found the GK section to be a bit difficult, while others said the Maths section was difficult.

Q:   What is the exam pattern for NIFT 2024 Situation Test?

A:
Candidates will be shortlisted for the Situation Test on the basis of their performance in the CAT and GAT written exams. The Situation Test will evaluate the - material handling and the innovative ability - of the candidate. Some of the key parameters that will be evaluated include Space Visualization, Innovative and creative use of given material, the composition of elements, color scheme, construction skill, the finesse of the model and overall presentation, etc. After making the model, the candidate will also have to draft a write-up explaining the model. The write-up should clearly explain the concept/idea behind the model constructed. Also, the write-up should be in English only. Write-ups in any other language will not be accepted. The candidate has to make the model using material provided inside the exam hall. No other material will be allowed.

Among the seats sanctioned in each course, 85% of the seats are earmarked for reserved categories of local (L) candidates who belong to all 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh while 15% of the seats are given to local and non-local candidates (L/NL) on merit.

ADCET 2023 Result

The result of ADCET 2023 will be declared within a few days of the conduct of the entrance exam. The results would be declared online in the form of rank cards that can be downloaded from the university website by entering one’s candidate credentials. 

Candidates will be allocated ADCET-2023 test-wise merit ranks as per the marks scored by them in the exam.

Note that there will be no provision to reevaluate the ADCET 2023 results or personal verification of the answer sheet.

ADCET 2023 Merit Rank - Tie-breaking procedure

If two or more candidates secure the same marks in the exam, the merit rank will be decided on the basis of the date of birth of the candidate with priority to the older candidate.
