The Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer Classes (DOEACC) is an exclusive creation of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It works under the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Govt. of India. Accreditation has been granted to various computer training institutes/organisations in the non-formal sector for conducting specified levels of courses, subject to adherence to well-defined norms and criteria.

DOEACC offers B Level certification program in Computer Applications. Recoganised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, DOEACC B level certification is professionally equivalent to MCA degree program. Students and working professionals willing to pursue the certification program will have to undergo the course program and pass the relevant examination conducted by the DOEACC society.

The objective of DOEACC B level program is to develop the capability in candidates to be able to analyse, develop and manage the software projects. The course has been designed to give students a sound background in computing, business functions and mathematics relevant to information technology. During the course, a student will learn computer programming languages, Compilers, Software Packages

Required Skillset for DOEACC B Level

Candidates willing to pursue DOEACC 'B' level certification program need to possess the below-enlisted skills:

Broad knowledge of hardware, software and programming

A methodical, investigative and inquisitive mind

As a systems analyst, you'll be expected to have a working knowledge of programming as well as analytical skills. Common programs include:

DOEACC B Level Eligibility

Candidates willing to pursue a DOEACC B Level certification curse will have to comply with the below-mentioned eligibility norms as prescribed by the DOEACC Society 

i) For students appearing through an institute Level 'A' / Government recognized PGDCA/Government recognized PGDCA/Government recognized polytechnic engineering diploma/Graduate, followed in each case by an accredited 'B' level course (First two semesters are exempted for those who have passed 'A' level in full.

Candidates having Government recognized PGDCA/Government recognized PGDCA will also be eligible for exemption of some subjects depending on the courses they had undergone, on a case by case basis).

ii) For students-at-large (Direct Applicants) Level 'A'/Government below-enlisted PGDCA/Government problem-solving PGDCA, followed in each case by two years of relevant experience. * (First two semesters are exempted for those who have passed 'A' level in full.

Candidates having Government recognized PGDCA/Government recognized PGDCA will also be eligible for exemption of some subjects depending on the courses they had undergone, on a case by case basis).

Graduate/Government recognized polytechnic engineering diploma, followed in each case by three years relevant experience. Candidates should make a note that relevant experience connotes job experience in IT including teaching in a recognized institution as a faculty member, excludes coaching.
