AEEE Cutoff 2025: Candidates can check here how much AEEE percentile is required for admission to Amrita University campuses and branches. The AEEE 2025 cutoff is available as opening and closing ranks as per previous year trends. Securing a rank above the designated AEEE cutoff is crucial for Amrita University admission. Candidates and experts have rated the AEEE 2025 Phase 1 exam as tougher compared to last year. While it wasn’t as difficult as the JEE Mains, it was more challenging than the previous year’s exam. As a result, the AEEE 2025 cutoff is expected to decrease.

Admission via AEEE is given in BTech courses offered at Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham campuses at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, and Nagercoil (new from 2025). Candidates who appear for AEEE have to apply for Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP) 2025. Via CSAP, candidates can participate in programme selection and seat allotment leading to admission to the desired course and campus. In CSAP seats will be allotted to the candidates based on their AEEE 2025 percentile and rank. Candidates curious about which Amrita campus and branch will they get based on their AEEE percentile, can check this article to know the answer. Candidates can also check here AEEE percentile vs rank 2025.

Commonly asked questions

Q:   I have got 8524 rank in AEEE. Can I get admission Amrita University, Coimbatore campus?

A:

You may get a seat in Amrita University but that depends on the number of students appearing in the counseling and what are their scores. I would suggest you to not rely on a single option and apply for some other best institute also.

Q:   I got 25000 rank in AEEE entrance examination. Can I get seat in Coimbatore Amrita campus?

A:
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducts Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering AEEE to offer admissions to candidates in the institutes four-year B.Tech degree programme, and 70% of the available seats are reserved for candidates with AEEE ranks. The cutoff for AEEE varies every year, and on the basis of previous year's trends, the cutoff for admission into the Amrita School of Engineering (Coimbatore) for general category open was under 7000 for most of the courses. You may be admitted to the Coimbatore campus with a state quota of up to 19000 ranks. Therefore, with a 25000 rank, the chances of getting admission into the Coimbatore campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham are less. However, you can still get admission at the Amritapuri and Bengaluru campuses.

Q:   Can I get admission in ASE - Coimbatore? I have scored 25,004 rank in AEEE.

A:
As per your rank of 25,004 your chances to get admission at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University is nil. Your rank should be at least below 5000 to get aerospace engineering. So try for other colleges.

Q:   Will there be separate counselling process for phase 1 and phase 2 in AEEE?

A:

No. There will be only one counselling after the AEEE phase 2 exams are over. After the completion of AEEE phase 2 exams, Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham will conduct a single counseling session. Once the AEEE results for both phases 1 and 2 are declared, the CSAP 2024 dates and comprehensive information will be published on the official website. Applicants with AEEE rank or JEE Mains percentile/rank must enroll for CSAP 2024 to secure admission to the BTech programme offered across five campuses (Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Nagercoil) of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The seat allotment for Amrita CSAP is conducted entirely online, eliminating the need for candidates to physically attend the counseling on campus. Eligible candidates receive counseling details via Email, SMS, and WhatsApp notifications.

Commonly asked questions

Q:   My AEEE percentile is 78.59, then what will be my rank? Can I get BTech CSE or ECE?

A:
To determine your rank based on your AEEE (Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam) percentile, you need to have information about the total number of candidates who appeared for the exam. The rank is calculated relative to the performance of all the candidates who took the exam. However, with a percentile of 78.59, it is possible to secure admission to B.Tech programs in CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) or ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) at Amrita University. The availability of seats and the cutoff ranks for these programs may vary from year to year, so it's essential to refer to the official sources for the latest information.

Q:   In AEEE, I got 13000 rank and scored 86 per cent in JEE Main. Which course can I get at Amrita University?

A:
Based on your AEEE rank of 13,000 and JEE Main percentile of 86, you have a fair chance of securing admission to Amrita University. However, the specific group or branch you may get will depend on several factors such as the number of seats available, the cutoff ranks for different branches in previous years, and the preferences selected by other candidates. Amrita University offers various undergraduate engineering programs across different campuses, including Coimbatore, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, and Chennai. Each campus may have different cutoff ranks for different branches. To get a clearer idea of the group or branch you may be eligible for at Amrita University, it is advisable to check the official website or admission brochure of the university. These sources will provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information on cutoff ranks, admission procedures, and branch availability. Additionally, participating in the counseling process and considering multiple options based on your preferences and interests will increase your chances of securing admission to a suitable group or branch at Amrita University.

  • Past Trends: How did cut-offs fare in past AEEE exams?
  • Applicant Pool: More applicants mean more competition, potentially pushing the cutoff up.
  • Seat Availability: The number of seats offered by Amrita University directly impacts the cutoff score.
  • Student Intake: The total number of students the institute plans to admit influences the cutoff for each program.

Commonly asked questions

Q:   I got 132/180 Can I get CSE In Amrita Bangalore.

A:

According to the information I found, to get into CSE branch from Amrita Bangalore campus, you should have a rank of 10000 or below if you have state quota. If you are from open category then you should have a rank below 4000 to get CSE in Amrita Bangalore campus.

Q:   I scored 111 marks in AEEE can I get CSE in amrita Coimbatore.

A:

111 marks could get you CSE branch only if you have the state quota, because students who have the state quota could get CSE with mere 105+ marks. Whereas if you don't have the state quota or you belong to the open category then its not possible for you to get into CSE. You need to have 145+ marks if you do not have the state quota.

Thumbs Up IconUpvote Thumbs Down Icon

Q:   What will be my rank of AEEE with 95 percentile?

A:
The rank in AEEE (Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam) for a specific percentile can vary depending on the total number of students who appeared for the exam and their performance. Since the percentile is a relative measure that indicates the percentage of candidates who scored less than or equal to a particular score, it does not directly correspond to a specific rank. To determine the approximate rank corresponding to a 95th percentile in AEEE you would need access to the score distribution and the total number of candidates who appeared for the exam. This information is typically provided by the conducting authority or the university offering the exam. I recommend checking the official website of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham or contacting their admissions office for the specific year's data regarding the rank corresponding to a 95th percentile in AEEE. They will be able to provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding the rank cutoffs and admission process. Please note that the rank cutoffs can vary each year depending on factors such as the difficulty level of the exam and the performance of the candidates. It's always advisable to refer to the official sources for the most accurate and reliable information.
Thumbs Up IconUpvote Thumbs Down Icon

Q:   What is the required mark in AEEE for computer Science in Coimbatore.

A:

The required rank to get a seat in Computer Science Engineering in Coimbatore campus is below 2000 under other state quota. The expected rank for an open category student to get into CSE is 140+ marks.
