AEEE 2025 Dates: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has started the AEEE slot booking for phase 1 exam. Last date to complete the AEEE slot booking is set as January 25. All candidates who complete the AEEE registration process can proceed for the slot booking. AEEE admit card will be released on January 27 for all the candidates who will complete the AEEE 2025 phase 1 slot booking before the last date. With the start of the phase 1 slot booking process, Amrita has added one more exam date. AEEE 2025 Phase 1 will be held on February 1, 2 and 3.
The candidates can apply for AEEE 2025 phase 1 exams at aeee.amrita.edu. AEEE 2025 phase 1 application form last date is January 25, 2025. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will hold the exam in two phases. AEEE 2025 phase 2 exam will be held from May 10 to 14 and the registration for the second phase will begin later on. The 10+2 passed/appearing candidates in 2025 can apply for the Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) 2025.
The AEEE 2025 exam will take place in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at various centres across India, including Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Dubai, UAE. Admission through AEEE is for BTech courses offered at Amrita University's campuses in Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, and Nagercoil (introduced in 2024). Candidates who qualify in AEEE must participate in the Amrita BTech Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP) for counselling. Through CSAP, candidates can select programmes and campuses based on their rank, leading to admission into their desired course and campus. AEEE 2025 exam will be held in 2 phases. The dates are as follows:
- AEEE 2025 Phase 1: February 1 and 2
- AEEE 2025 Phase 2: May 10 to 14

Q: How can I take admission in Amrita other than through AEEE?
Admission to BTech Programmes offered at Amrita School of Engineering is through and based on the rank scored in JEE Main and AEEE. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores and the rest of the 30% of seats are filled based on JEE Main ranks. A candidate can choose to apply either through AEEE or JEE Mains individually or even select both.
Q: Which campuses of Amrita University accepts AEEE scores?
Admission via AEEE is given in BTech courses offered at Amrita University campuses at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Faridabad and Coimbatore. This year a new campus is being added to this list which is the Nagercoil campus. Candidates can check the campuses that offer BTech specialisation they are interested in on the official website. Not all campuses will offer all the specialisation. For example the coimbotore campuse offer all specialisation except for Electronics & Computer Engineering. Similarly exceptions are applicable in other campuses too.
Q: When will the AEEE application form release?
AEEE 2025 phase 1 application form has been released on October 22. The phase 2 application form release date is yet to be announced.
Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form and more than one application i.e. multiple applications from a candidate may get rejected. Candidates' names and their parents' names in the application form must exactly be the same as registered in Class 12th/ equivalent qualifying Examination. Prefix/title such as Mr/Shri/Fr/Dr/Mrs/Smt/Col etc. should not be used. The candidates are advised not to send the hard copy of the online application to the university. However, the candidates are advised to retain a hard copy of the application i.e. acknowledgement page for future reference or correspondence.
AEEE 2025 Exam Date - Phase 1 and 2 OUT
Amrita University conducts AEEE exam for admission to BTech courses. The exam date is announced online and candidates need to book their exam slots as per the availability to appear for the computer-based test. The 10+2 passed/appearing candidates in 2025 can apply for Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) 2025. AEEE CBT has one paper of 300 marks. 100 MCQs are asked in the exam from Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English. Each question carries 3 marks and 1 mark is deducted against each wrong answer. The questions are based on the syllabus in Class 11th & Class 12th. All the questions are of Multiple-Choice type and have four options as possible answers.

AEEE 2025 counselling (CSAP): Candidates with AEEE 2025 rank or JEE Mains 2025 Percentile Score or Rank have to register for CSAP 2025. CSAP is held for all AEEE qualified candidates, in order to secure admission to the BTech programme offered at 5 campuses (Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore) of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
