Selection Criteria for BTech Courses
Admission to this course is on the basis of marks scored in UPSEE. To secure admission, students must have a good rank (under 10,000) in the UPSEE exam. Students scoring higher ranks may get a call in case of vacant seats in the SPOT round (last round). If the seats remain vacant, then admissions are on the basis of JEE Main score or PCM percentage under the management quota.

BTech Course Curriculum
It has eight semesters and every semester has assignments, tests, and exams followed by project work. University exam has 70% weightage and internal exams have a combined weightage of 30%. To appear in exams, students must have at least 75% attendance.

Selection Criteria for B.Voc.
Admission to this course is on the basis of UPSEE counselling. On the basis of marks scored in the last exam, a merit list is prepared and students are called for admission. Candidates with a Level 4 certificate from any recognised technical/skill/vocational board are also eligible for admission.
B.Voc. Course Curriculum
The course curriculum of B.Voc. is purely industry-based as it mainly focuses on practical knowledge. Each semester has projects, training, assignments, practical exams, etc. Projects and seminars have more weightage than exams.

Selection Criteria for MTech
Admission to this course is on the basis of marks scored in the GATE exam. To secure admission, a student must have qualified the GATE exam with a valid score card (a GATE score card is valid for three years). If seats remain vacant then admissions are on the basis of CGPA/Percentage.
MTech Course Curriculum
In its four semesters, the first two semesters are theory based but the last two semesters are completely based on research and project work. To complete this program, a thesis needs to be submitted to acquire the degree. One must have at least 75% attendance to appear in the final exams.

After MTech, career opportunities just double in comparison to BTech as more opportunities in the field of research and teaching open.
