COMEDK Eligibility Criteria 2025 – Engineering Course 

Candidates seeking admission to engineering courses can check COMEDK eligibility conditions below. 

  • The qualifying examinations prescribed for admission for B.E./B.Tech is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government; the last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject. 
  • The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as one of the optional subjects. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE/VTU will be adopted. 
  • An attempt in the COMEDK Entrance Test seeking admission to Engineering courses is considered adequate for figuring in the rank list. 
  • Diploma candidates are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.

COMEDK Eligibility Criteria 2025 – Architecture Course 

  • The prescribed qualifying examination for admission to B. Arch course is second PUC or 10+2 
  • The candidates should have passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (45% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka) as compulsory subjects and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination (45% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka) or passed 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka) and should have passed these subjects individually. 
  • All the candidates (including SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka) seeking admission to B.Arch. shall pass the aptitude test in architecture conducted either by NTA (i.e. JEE Main) or NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the Council of Architecture. Qualification in NATA is subject to the candidate getting at least cut-off marks in two individual components and also getting at least the qualifying marks in aggregate. Candidates who have passed any other aptitude test in Architecture conducted by other authorities shall also be required to qualify NATA or JEE in order to be eligible for admission to B. Arch course. Only NATA or JEE scores will be considered for preparing the merit list along with marks of qualifying examination. 
  • There shall be no Entrance Test conducted by COMEDK for candidates seeking admission to BArch Course. 
  • Candidates seeking admission to B.Arch course shall submit a separate application form for counseling as per the notification on COMEDK website (which will be made available before counseling).

A:

Q:   Can I select my COMEDK exam centre slot as per my choice?

A:

No the exam authority will not allow candidates to select their COMEDK 2025 exam centre slot. The session and COMEDK test center is allotted through computer assisted randomization process. Candidates can only choose their COMEDK UGET exam centre 2025 preference at the time of filling out the application form. COMEDK UGET 2025 exam will be conducted in two slots morning and afternoon. Applicants have to report at the COMEDK 2025 exam centre as per the slot mentioned in the hall ticket. Candidates are not allowed to appear in the COMEDK UGET 2025 exam other than the slot mentioned in the admit card.

Q:   Can I choose my COMEDK exam centre?

A:

No Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will not allow to choose their COMEDK exam centre 2025. Candidates can only select their exam city preference at the time of filling the COMEDK UGET application form 2025. The exam authority will allot COMEDK exam centre as per the choices filled by candidates at the time of registration. Applicants are advised to report to the COMEDK UGET exam centre 2025 strictly as per the timings mentioned in the hall ticket.

Applicants looking for admission to various courses can fill the COMEDK UGET application form 2025 at comedk.org. The application process of COMEDK UGET 2025 comprises registration, filling form, uploading documents and payment of fee. The application form of COMEDK 2025 will be available in online mode only. Candidates first need to complete the COMEDK UGET registration 2025 using personal details. After successful registration, applicants need to login to fill COMEDK application form 2025. The last date to fill the COMEDK UGET application form 2025 will be notified later.

Q:   How many city preference candidates can submit while selecting the COMEDK exam centre?

A:

At the time of filling the application form, applicants need to select three COMEDK exam centre 2025 preference. Candidates have to select COMEDK exam city only. The exam authority will allot the COMEDK UGET 2025 exam centre as per the preference filled in at the time of registration. So, applicants are advised to fill COMEDK city preference carefully. COMEDK 2025 test center is allotted through computer assisted randomization process. Do not fill any exam preference city which is far from the hometown.

Q:   What is the validity of COMEDK UGET score?

A:

The validity of COMEDK UGCET 2025 score is one year only. Applicants can use their COMEDK score 2025 for the admissions in current year only. Apart from Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka, many other institutes also accept COMEDK 2025 score. The scorecard of COMEDK 2025 is released along with the result. Applicants need to enter their user ID and password to check COMEDK result scorecard. Candidates are advised to keep their COMEDK UGET scorecard 2025 safe till the conclusion of the counseling process.
