KEAM 2024 Rank List (OUT): Check for Engineering, Pharmacy and Other Courses

CEE has released the KEAM rank list 2024. The rank list has been prepared based on the 50:50 weightage given to class 12 marks and KEAM 2024 normalised scores. To know all about the KEAM 2024 rank list and ranks, read below.

KEAM 2024 rank list

KEAM 2024 Rank List: CEE released KEAM 2024 engineering rank list on July 11 and the BPharm rank list on July 20. KEAM 2024 engineering topper is Devanandin from Alappuzha among 79,044 candidates who took the exam. Candidates can also check their KEAM ranks at the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in. To check KEAM 2024 ranks, candidates must log in to their candidate portal using the KEAM application number and password. Of 58,340 candidates who qualified in the Engineering Entrance Examination, 52,500 have submitted their second-year marks of the Qualifying Examination to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. The KEAM 2024 rank lists for admission to Architecture and Pharmacy courses and the category/community-wise lists based on the rank lists will be published in due course.

The Kerala KEAM engineering rank list 2024 has been determined by a 50:50 weightage to plus two marks and KEAM 2024 normalised scores. For the Bpharm rank list the raw score of Chemistry obtained from the KEAM 2024 Entrance Examination has been multiplied by 2.25 and added to the Physics raw score. The sum so obtained is multiplied by a factor 2/3 to calculate the index mark. The so obtained index score has been normalized for ranking the candidates for the BPharm course. The maximum index score is 300.

Candidates who have not submitted their class 12 marks have not received a rank and consequently will be ineligible for admission. Eligible candidates included in the KEAM rank list can participate in the KEAM counselling 2024 - centralised admission process (CAP). The KEAM rank list 2024 is being uploaded separately for all courses - engineering, pharmacy, medical, Agriculture, Forestry, Co-operation & Banking, Climate Change & Environmental Science, BTech Biotechnology Courses, Veterinary Course and Fisheries Course. 

The KEAM 2024 rank list is prepared based on marks of qualifying exam marks and KEAM 2024 marks. The weightage of the qualifying exam marks and KEAM marks varies for rank lists PDF for Engineering, Architecture, BPharm, MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BSMS/BUMS/Agriculture/Forestry/ Veterinary /Co-operation & Banking/ Climate Change & Environmental Science/ B.Tech Biotechnology (under KAU)/ Fisheries and BAMS. candidates with KEAM ranks can participate in KEAM 2024 counselling rounds.

Class 12 Marks for Preparation of KEAM 2024 Rank List

Those candidates who have qualified in the KEAM engineering entrance test will have to submit the marks obtained for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology in the Second year of Plus Two or equivalent Qualifying Examination through the website for the preparation of Engineering KEAM rank list.

Verification of Class 12 marks

Mark verification facility will be available for those candidates who have submitted class 12 marks for the preparation of the KEAM rank list 2024. The authority will open the facility to check the marks data. If the details are correct, click the ‘No Change’ button against each item and finally click the ‘Verified and Found Correct’ button. If any of the details are incorrect, click the ‘Change Required’ button against the items to be corrected and then click the ‘Verified and Found Mismatch’ button. Such candidates shall have to upload the necessary mark lists as proof for correction in the submitted marks.

How to Submit Plus Two Scores for KEAM Rank List Preparation?

• Visit ‘KEAM 2024 Candidate Portal’ on the official website of KEAM.

• On the menu, click ‘Mark Submission for Engineering’ to enter marks of class 12'.
• If the marks shown are different from the actual marks given in the mark list, candidates can edit the marks using the ‘Change’ button and enter the actual marks.
• After entering all details, click on the ‘Finalise Mark Data’ button and upload the Class 12 mark sheets through the link ‘Upload Plus Two Mark Sheet’ (if available).
• After the marks are successfully submitted, the candidates will have to take a printout of the ‘Marks Submission Confirmation Report’ and keep it safe for future reference.

Note: Facilitation Centres will be functioning throughout the State to assist candidates with online marks submission. Applicants who do not submit the marks online will not be considered for the preparation of the KEAM rank list.

Preparation of KEAM 2024 Engineering Rank List

• Equal weightage of 50:50 shall be given to the normalized score obtained in the Entrance Examination for Engineering as described in Clause 9.4.4 (i) and the grade/marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, after effecting the standardization procedure. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science and Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered.
• The final year marks of the qualifying examination of each subject Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology of the students who have passed the subject, received from the respective Boards, shall be transformed out of 100. The marks of the three subjects shall be computed out of 300 after effecting standardization in each subject.
• The formula for standardization as has been approved by the Expert Committee constituted vide G.O.(Rt)No.1758/2011/H.Edn. dated.03.11.2011: The marks secured by a student in the qualifying examination from any Board will be standardized with respect to the statistical parameters such as Global Mean and Global Standard Deviation.

• The subjects of the qualifying examination considered for the computation of marks for the purpose of ranking shall be Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The marks of the concerned subject out of a hundred or an equivalent mark out of a hundred, as given in the final year mark list of the Qualifying Examination of any plus two streams shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science and Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered.

Preparation of KEAM 2024 Pharmacy Rank List

Rank list for Admission to the BPharm Course will be prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations based on index marks are calculated as follows:

• The raw score of Chemistry obtained from the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination will be multiplied by 2.25 and added to the Physics raw score obtained from the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination. The sum so obtained will be multiplied by a factor of 2/3 to calculate the index mark. The so obtained index score will be normalized (as per the normalization procedure for ranking the candidates for the BPharm course. The maximum index score will be 300. 

Inter-se-merit while publication of KEAM Rank List 2024

In the case of a tie in the total index marks computed after integrating the total normalized score of the entrance examination with the total standardized score for the preparation of the engineering rank then:

• The candidate with a higher pre-normalized score in Mathematics in the entrance examination will be placed higher in the ranking.
• If the tie still exists, the candidate with a higher pre-normalized score in Physics of the Entrance Examination will be placed higher in the ranking. If there is still a tie, a candidate with higher standardized marks in Mathematics in the final year of the qualifying examination will be placed higher in the ranking.
• If the tie persists, the candidate with higher standardized marks in Physics in the final year of the qualifying examination will be placed higher in the ranking.
• If the tie is still not resolved, the candidate with correct higher number of responses in Mathematics will be considered. If the tie persists candidate with a correct higher number of responses in Physics will be considered.
• If there is still a tie, the age of the candidate will be considered, and the older will be placed higher in the ranking.
• If the tie remains, the decision of CEE will be final.

In the case of a tie in the total normalised marks computed for the preparation of the BPharm rank list the:

• The candidate with the higher pre-normalized score in Chemistry in the Engineering Entrance Examination will be placed higher in the ranking.
• If the tie is still not resolved, the higher pre-normalized score in Physics in the Engineering Entrance Examination will be placed higher in the ranking.
• If the tie is still not resolved, the candidate with the correct higher number of responses in Chemistry in the Engineering Entrance Examination will be considered.
• If the tie persists candidate with the correct higher number of responses in Physics will be considered.
• If there is still a tie, the age of the candidate will be considered, and the older will be placed higher in the ranking.
• If the tie remains, the decision of CEE will be final. 

KEAM Rank List 2024 – Important Points to Remember

• Those candidates who do not submit the marks in the final year of the qualifying examination (class 12) through the official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations www.cee.kerala.gov.in and who do not upload the mark list of final year of the Qualifying Examination on or before the date specified will not be included in the Engineering KEAM 2024 rank list.
• Candidates included in the Engineering rank list will not be considered for admission to BArch Course based on their Engineering rank.
• A candidate not appearing for Paper-I (Physics & Chemistry) of the Engineering Entrance Examination will not be considered for preparation of KEAM rank list 2024 for admission to BPharm course.
