How to fill out JELET 2025 application form?

WBJEE JELET 2025 application form will be released online. The given steps have to be followed to fill out and submit the JELET application form 2025. Since the application process is over, the candidates can check the steps for reference.

Step 1 - Registration

  • Go to wbjeeb.nic.in
  • Candidates will have to fill out the candidate's name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender and personal identification number.
  • Contact details such as an address, state, district, PIN, email ID, mobile number and alternate mobile number have to be provided.
  • Next, a password has to be created and a security question/answer has to be answered.
  • A preview of the registration details has to be checked and the necessary changes have to be made.
  • Click on the “submit” button
  • Candidates are advised to note the application number, which will appear on the screen. It will be also shared on the registered mobile number and email ID.

Step 2 - Fill out the application form 

  • After exercising the registration process, candidates will have to fill in their personal details on the form
  • Indicate (yes/no) in the domicile category
  • Mention caste category, PwD status
  • Fill in your religion, nationality, etc.
  • After that select any three exam centres

Step 3 - Upload scanned documents

Candidates will have to upload their scanned colour photos and signatures in the prescribed format. Check the instructions below.

  • The background should be of light colour.
  • The quality of the image should not be low.
  • The face of the candidate should occupy 50%.
  • The image should be in JPG/JPEG format and scanned at 300 dpi.

Step 4 - Fee Payment

After uploading the photo and signature, the candidates will be redirected to the fee payment window. Candidates can pay the JELET application fee through net banking/ debit card/ credit card only. The authorities will not accept requests for a refund of the application fee.

Step 5 - Print Confirmation Page

After successful fee payment, the page will redirect to the confirmation page. Download the confirmation page and keep it safe until the admission process is completed successfully. The confirmation page will carry the information given by the candidate.

Q:   What is the WBJEE JELET application fee?

A:

To successfully complete the WBJEE JELET application form process, the candidates will have to pay the fee. The WBJEE JELET application fee is INR 500 (General Male Candidates), INR 400 (Female General candidates, SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B Male Candidates) and INR 300 (SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B Female Candidates and Third Gender Candidates) plus the bank service charges (as applicable). The candidates will have to pay the application fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment will be accepted. It is to be noted that the application fee will not be refunded to the candidates. If the candidates fail to pay the application fee, then their applications will not be accepted by the authorities.

Q:   Which documents have to be uploaded in the WBJEE JELET application form?

While filling out the WBJEE JELET application form, the candidates will have to upload their scanned documents i.e., photograph and signature. The scanned photograph has to be taken in a light background and should be of high quality. The face of the candidate should occupy 50% of the photograph and the size should be between 3KB to 100KB. The dimension of the photograph should be 4cm x 3cm. The candidate's signature should be scanned in the size between 3KB to 30KB and the dimension should be 4cm x 1.5cm. WBJEE JELET 2025 application form correction facility will be open for all registered candidates. Through the WBJEE JELET application correction facility 2025, the candidates will be able to edit/correct their previously submitted details. However, it is to be noted, that the candidates will not be able to change/edit their basic details such as their name, father's name, mother's name, gender and date of birth. After the final date, the candidates will not be able to make any changes to their application form. There is no fee to make changes through the WBJEE JELET application form correction facility. However, the candidates may have to pay the fee difference if they make changes to their submitted category. This will be applicable since the WBJEE JELET application fee varies for different categories. Since the application fee is higher for the General category, the required fee has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. However, if the candidates are changing their category from general to reserved, then the fee difference will not be refunded by the authorities.

  • There is no upper age limit.
  • Should have passed a Diploma with at least 45% (40% for reserved category) or equivalent CGPA in the concerned branch from AICTE approved institute or university.
  • For admission to Jadavpur University, candidates should have obtained 60% aggregate (45% for reserved category) or equivalent CGPA in the concerned branch from AICTE approved institute or university.

Q:   What is the mode of payment for the WBJEE JELET application fee?

During the WBJEE JELET application process, the candidates will have to pay the application fee. The general category candidates will have to pay INR 500 and the SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B category candidates will have to pay INR 400 plus applicable bank charges. The fee payment can be done online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment will be accepted. All candidates will have to make the payment before the final date.
