Overall, good packages are there and value for money.
Placements: Talking about placements, about 85–90% of students are placed. For B.Tech courses, the highest on-campus placements are about 19 LPA. In my recession batch of 2024, I had two offers from KPMG and Bharat Electronics Limited (government PSU) at 6 LPA and 12.45 LPA, respectively.
Infrastructure: The best 24-hour library is equipped with AC and Wi-Fi. If you want to really study, then it is very comfortable. Hostels have separate libraries that are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The library is very large and all books are available. It is very quiet in the library to focus on studies.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and some teachers are very helpful. B.Tech courses have labs that are highly equipped with many advanced machines. Semester exams are held on time, and the results are also satisfactory. One bad thing is that to clear a backlog, students need to wait 1 complete year.
Other: Overall, it is a very green and beautiful environment. You will not be able to leave after your course .

Our college provides good placement opportunities and a good learning environment.
Placements: Our university is visited by many top-tier companies that offer high salary packages of more than 10 LPA. They are Infosys, Zscaler, Josh Technologies, etc. Other than that, there are many mass hiring companies that provide a package of around 4 LPA. The companies usually offer assistant software developer roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of classrooms can be improved. There are projectors and whiteboards in all classrooms. They are very spacious. Each classroom has the capacity to hold around 150 students. Wi-Fi is present in the classrooms, although it has a smaller range. There is also a library in the department.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They tend to resolve every doubt of the students, whether it is career-related or life-related. They are very knowledgeable. They have deep understanding of their respective subjects. The exams are fair, and they test our understanding of the subjects.
Other: This is the best course for someone who is aspiring to go into the IT sector and wants to become a software developer because its curriculum helps with that. Many fests and competitions are conducted in a regular manner.

Low Placement Rate of GNDU.
Placements: Last year, around 75% of students were placed, and most of them received a package of 3 LPA, which is not at all good. In my department, a few students got 7 LPA, and the highest package was 12.45 LPA, which was given to only 2 students. The main companies recruiting were BHEL and Accenture.
Infrastructure: GNDU has pretty good infrastructure; there is a different lab for each subject. The main library is built differently; according to the states, it is Punjab's second-largest library, which is fully air-conditioned and has almost every book available.
Faculty: The faculty is pretty good, and the course is relevant as it makes the students industry-ready. Talking about the exams, there are two exams held in a semester: one is minor, and the other is major. The minor is of 30 marks, and the major is of 70 marks, with the result based on the total score out of 100.
Other: I chose this course because it is relevant these days. I wish the fees should be decreased as it is a government university. If you are thinking about fests, there are a lot, trust me!

You can consider this university.
Placements: Most students get placed at mass recruiting companies. Students with a high CGPA get placed at top companies like Google, Microsoft, and HDFC Bank. Most students get internships in the final year. CSE is the top branch in which students get placed. It is the best university.
Infrastructure: This is a government-aided university, so the labs and classrooms are excellent. Hostels are good. In one room, there are 4 students. In the second year, you get a 2-seater room in another hostel. The food is good but repetitive. Sports facilities are very good at the university.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. In the first semester, Ph.D. students come to teach you. From the second year onward, professional teachers come to teach you. The first-year curriculum is the same for all B.Tech. students, so it is not that relatable to our course. Semester exams are difficult.
Other: I chose this course because it provides placements for almost 100% of students with good salary packages.

Gndu campus pictures and review.
Placements: The placements are good since almost all of my seniors were placed last year and the avg. Package was around 6 LPA. The highest was 18lpa and the lowest was around 3.5lpa. Mostly everyone was placed in coding companies like tcs, capgemini, accenture, Nagar, virtusa, amazon, josh technology, amdocs, etc. A total of 52 companies visited our campus last year most of them for mass recruitment. This year, campus placements started last month and almost half of my batch is placed already.
Infrastructure: Course focuses on the core electronics and communication subjects with 2 coding languages, machine learning and DSA. So if you just study your subjects and timely complete the syllabus, you will need a little lesser efforts to excel in the programming field. The campus is very beautifully built and the hostels have sufficient amenities like lifts, Wi-Fi, reading rooms, badminton court, common rooms, etc. The hostel staff is friendly and the mess food is okay according to the price charged.
Faculty: The faculty is very qualified, and knowledgeable. They are always ready to help you if you have any doubt. The semester exams are on the tougher side but you can do well with consistent studying. Overall the course is more than enough to make you prepared for whether it is GATE placements in coding/core companies or other government exams.
Other: The campus is huge, spread across 500 acres, and has everything needed, from cycling track to archery ground to swimming pool etc. The campus life is really good and students are from all parts of India.
