GCET paper will consist of objective multiple-choice questions. For every question, four options will be present, out of which the candidates will have to select the correct answer. While preparing the official GCET question paper, the authorities will refer to the syllabus and will take into consideration the topics of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. As per the official GCET pattern, the candidates will have to answer a total of 225 multiple-choice questions. The paper is divided into three sections - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each section will have 75 questions, which will be objective in nature. Candidates will be required to select the correct answer from the four options available for each question. All of the questions have to be answered in the allotted duration. No extra time will be allotted to the candidates.

The official marking scheme of GCET will be prepared and released by the authorities. For every correct response, the candidates will be allotted one mark.
