How to Make Corrections in JEE Main 2025 Application Form

• Open the JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.ac.in
• Click on the JEE Main 2025 Correction window link
• Login using your application number and password
• JEE Main application form 2025 will be displayed on the screen
• Select the information that needs to be edited and make the required changes
• Click on the Save button

After making all the changes, candidates were advised to download and take a printout of their JEE Mains form 2025.

Can I fill another application form in case of mistakes in the first form

Candidates must not to fill more than one JEE Main 2025 application form. If any candidate fills multiple application forms, NTA could cancel the forms and his/her candidature will be rejected. It is thus strongly advised to fill out only one application form.

The filling of the JEE Main Application Form 2025 is a four-step process. It includes registration, filling the academic and personal information, uploading the necessary documents, and payment of the JEE Mains 2025 registration fee. • Select the JEE Mains Apply Online option that says "New Candidate Registration."
• Fill the registration form with the necessary data, and create a passport of your choice.
• Click on the "submit" button.
• Candidate will receive the JEE Main registration number and password on the registered mobile phone and email ID. The JEE Main registration is complete at this stage. Candidates can continue filling the application form by clicking on " Complete Application Form" button or logout to fill the form later.
• After registration, candidates have to fill the JEE Main application form with all the required information. Candidates also need to upload the documents and photographs at this stage.
• The next step is to pay the JEE Main fees 2025 through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI.

After the JEE Mains 2025 registration fees is successfully paid, the application form will be instantly submitted. The JEE Main Application Form PDF will be sent to the candidate’s email ID.

Here is the list of documents required for JEE Mains Registration 2025. Candidates must keep the following information and scanned copies of documents required to fill JEE Mains form before they start filling out the JEE Main 2025 application form. • Valid email and mobile number. To receive confirmation and verification messages from NTA, an active email address and mobile number are mandatory
• Class 10 and Class 12 certificates. Candidates need to upload only class 10 certificate in the application form.
• Aadhar card details
• Scanned photograph and signature of the candidate
• Scanned copy of the category certificate (if applicable). Candidates belonging to the OBC-NCL/EWS category need to provide details of the issue date and the name of the person who issued the certificate. OBC-NCL/EWS candidates need not upload the certificate but only details of certificate have to be filled in the form.
• Scanned copy of the PwD/PwBD certificate (if applicable). PwD/PwBD candidates have to upload the certificate in the form. 
• Details of net banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI for paying the JEE Main fees 2025

Important Guidelines for Images and Documents

• A colour or black and white photo should be used. The candidates are allowed to have spectacles in the photograph. Whereas, sunglasses and caps are not allowed.
• Unclear photos will not be accepted. The photo uploaded should be clear and adhere to the recommended file size, and format as per the guidelines provided by NTA.
• Signature should be clearly done on white paper. The size and format of the signature uploaded should be as per guidelines.
• The documents uploaded should be of the size and format prescribed by the NTA.

Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for the JEE Mains exam 2025. Candidates fulfilling the below-mentioned eligibility conditions are eligible to fill out the NTA JEE Main Application Form 2025

• Candidates who have passed the Class 12 exam in 2023/2024 or appearing in 2025.
• No age limit.
• For Paper 1 (BE/BTech), candidates must have Physics and Maths in Class 12 and any other subject from Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical vocational subject.
• For Paper 2A (BArch), candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Maths in Class 12.
• For Paper 2B (BPlan), candidates must have Maths in Class 12.

The form will be considered submitted only after successful payment of JEE Main application fee. The candidates who select both Paper 1 and Paper 2 have to pay the application fees for both papers. NTA has discontinued the facility of registration through Digi locker/ABC ID/ Passport number/PAN/Aadhaar enrollment number. Earlier, candidates had to select their preferred mode or registration before they start filling out the form. Also, the candidate needs to select options for Authentication at the Examination Centre.

• Authenticate through Valid Government ID with a Photograph

Note: The choice of exam cities for the exam will be displayed to candidates based on the permanent and present address filled in during JEE Main 2025 registration.

Note: In case a candidate does not have a Gen-EWS/OBC-NCL/PwD/SC/ST certificate, they need to upload the "Self Declaration/Undertaking" in the specified format available in the information brochure.

The given steps can be followed to fill JEE Main 2025 application form. Candidates are advised to fill in all the details in the application carefully and not make any mistakes.

Step 1- Registration: In the first step, candidates must complete the JEE Main 2025 registration process at jeemain.nta.nic.in. After clicking on ‘New Registration’, candidates will have to check the instructions and register by submitting the given details:

• Personal Details – Name, Parent’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender
• Present Address
• Permanent Address
• Create password

A strong password has to be generated by candidates. After confirming all of the provided details, the JEE Main 2025 application number will be generated and displayed on the screen. The application number has to be kept safe since it will be required during the entire admission process.

Step 2- Filling of Application Form: Next, candidates will have to select their nationality, category, session of exam applying for, question paper medium and choice of test cities. Four exam cities have to be selected in the order of preference. Candidates will also have to provide their education details and parents’ income information.

Step 3- Uploading of Scanned Documents: After filling out the form, candidates will have to upload their scanned documents i.e., photograph and signature. If applicable, the category certificate and PwD certificate also have to be uploaded.

Step 4- Payment of Fee: Next, candidates will have to pay the JEE Main 2025 application fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI as per their category and the number of selected papers.

Step 5- Print out Confirmation Page: Finally, candidates will have to print out the confirmation page for future use.

Issues with uploading documents

• Issues with uploading documents and scanned copies of photographs/signatures are the most common problems many students encounter when completing the JEE Main 2025 application.
• The most common reason for these issues is that the images to be uploaded do not adhere to NTA standards.
• The issue can be quickly fixed by resizing the image according to the NTA specifications.
• The images can be resized using one of the many online tools available.
• Keep the scanned copies of the documents in the proper format and size.

Issues with Application Fee Payment

• Due to a slow internet speed or problems with the bank server, candidates may experience difficulties paying the fee. Candidates are recommended to try the payment process again later in this circumstance.
• If the money has been deducted, but the payment status still indicates that payment has not been made, candidates must wait 24 hours before retrying. Candidates will have to pay the fee again if the status still shows “not paid” after 24 hours. The previously paid amount will be credited back to their bank accounts.

Timeout or File not found error

• For filling out the JEE Main 2025 application form, make sure you open the application form page in the recent version of Mozilla Firefox/Internet Explorer and have a stable internet connection.
• Clear the browser's cookies and history in case of a timeout error, then retry during off-peak hours.

The National Testing Agency (NTA), the examination conducting authority assigns the JEE Main 2025 exam cities and test centres to candidates based on the preferences filled by the candidates in the application form.
