VITMEE Counselling 2024 (STARTED): Dates, Choice filling, Seat allotment, Document Verification

• Counselling for VITMEE 2024 is done at VIT University in Chennai and Vellore campuses.   

• The candidate needs to be physically present to attend the VITMEE counselling  
• VTIMEE counselling 2024 will depend upon the availability of seats.  
• The exam authorities will release the admission merit list in which names of the qualified candidates will be mentioned.  
• Candidates need to bring their original documents on the counselling day.  
• Original documents are necessary to attend the further procedures of admission.   

• VITMEE counselling procedure will be conducted in different rounds if seats remain vacant after the first round. 

• After a few days of the declaration of result, the exam authority will release the VITMEE merit list 2024 for the candidates.  
• Candidates whose names will appear in the exam merit list will be eligible for the VITMEE counselling 2024 session.  
• The VIT University will inform the candidates regarding their VITMEE counselling date and venue.  

• Candidates with GATE scores can appear directly in the counselling session with their scorecard. 
• Candidates need to pay the counselling fee of VITMEE in advance.  
• Candidates are required to carry their original documents for the counselling verification process.  
• After verification, the eligible candidate will be allowed to participate in the VITMEE 2024 counselling. 
• After this, candidates will be allotted seats and admission allotment letters will be provided.  

• Once the exam authority has allotted the seat to the candidate, it cannot be changed further.

Applicants need to carry photocopies of the required documents mentioned below.   

• X and XII Std. Marks statement.   
• Mark Sheets of all semesters/ years of the qualifying examination up to pre-final / final year as applicable.  
• Qualifying Degree /Provisional Certificate (If already received).    
• Transfer/Migration/College Leaving Certificate obtained from the Institute last studied. (If already received) (Original).   
• Valid GATE Score Card (If available).   

• Aadhaar Card.  
• Service Certificate issued by the Employer. (For sponsored candidates - for M.Tech programmes only) Community Certificate (only for SC/ST categories).   
• Conduct Certificate (Original).  
• Nativity Certificate (for Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and Northeastern States).   
• Student Profile (https://vtop.vit.ac.in/studentprofile/).   

• Physical Fitness Certificate Admission letter and a photocopy of the programme fee receipt.   
• Two copies of recent passport size colour photograph.   
• An undertaking for good conduct and behavior in a prescribed form (to be issued by the University/Institute at the time of admission).   
• Affidavit to be signed separately by the student parent in Rs.20/- Non-Judicial Stamp Paper and same has to be attested by Notary Public. 

Vellore Institute of Technology has released the VITMEE result online at the official website. Applicants who appeared in the exam can check their VITMEE 2024 result at vit.ac.in. The login details required to check the result of VITMEE 2024 are application number and password. Qualified candidates based on scores will be called for the VITMEE counselling 2024.
