According to the CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws, candidates need to qualify the CTET or TET exam to become eligible for teaching Classes 1 to 8 in the schools affiliated to the CBSE. After declared pass in the CTET result, candidates can apply for teacher recruitment in the following types of schools:
- Schools affiliated under the Central Government- KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.
