Candidates applying for DSSSB PRT 2023 must have acquired a certain level of education. 1. Candidates applying for the DSSSB PRT must have completed their 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board. 2. Candidates must also be pursuing a Diploma or degree courses like diplomas in elementary educations/B.El.Ed/diploma in education/special education with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognised university. 3. The candidate must have also qualified CTET exam 1 which is conducted by CBSE. Adding them, the age limit is 30 years for general category but for SC there is age relaxation of 5 years. So yes you are completely eligible for DSSSB PRT 2023.

Q: What is the DSSSB exam eligibility?

DSSSB Eligibility criteria vary as per the post a candidate applies for under the official notification. However, the basic parameters that candidates need to fulfil in order to meet DSSSB eligibility 2024 for different posts are given below:

Librarian:

Degree from a recognised University or Equivalent
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Diploma in Library Science or a recognised University/ Institute or Equivalent
Experience of Two Years in Library/ computerization of a Library (or)
One year Certificate in Computer Application from a recognised institute or equivalent

Assistant Teacher (Nursery):

Senior Secondary School (Class Twelve) Certificate or Intermediate or it's equivalent with at least 45 per cent marks from a recognised Board/University
Diploma/ Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education programme of a duration of not less than two years or BEd (Nursery) from a recognised Institute
Must have passed Hindi at the secondary level

Trained Graduate Teacher (Computer Science):

Bachelor's degree in computer application BCA from a recognised university (or)
Graduation in Computer Science from a recognised university (provided that the computer Science subject must be studied in all years as the main subject) (or)
BE/BTech (Computer Science/Information Technology) from a recognised university (or)
Graduation in any subject and A-level course from DOEACC, Ministry of Information & Communication and Technology, Government of India

Physical Education Teacher:

Graduate with Bachelor of Physical Education, BEd or its equivalent

Manager (Accounts):

Qualified Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (or) MCom from a recognised University/Institute

PGT:

DSSSB application fee for a majority of the posts is INR 100. Also, women candidates and applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD), and Ex-serviceman category are exempted from paying the application fee. Candidates can only submit the DSSSB Application Fee through online mode only using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI. DSSSB doesn't accept the application fee in any offline mode.

Educational Eligibility for TGT Social Science in DSSSB: Nationality: All Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the DSSSB TGT and SST exams. Age Limit: Must be younger than 32 years of age. Educational Qualifications: The students must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree from any recognised university with at least 45 percent aggregate marks in 2 school subjects, of which at least one out of the following should have been at the elective level: English math, natural or physical Science, and social Science. Note: The main subjects for (I) TGT (Natural Science or Physical Science) shall be Chemistry Biology Physics Botany, and Zoology. (ii) Social Science: History, Political Science, Economics, Business Studies, Sociology, Geography, and Psychology. Furthermore, the requirement of a minimum of 45 percent in aggregate at the UG level shall be relaxed in the case of (a) Students who pass a PG qualification in any of the teaching subjects listed above. (b) Belonging to the SC or ST category (c) PWD candidates students with a degree or Diploma in teaching are eligible. Knowledge of Hindi is mandatory. The candidate must have cleared the CTET exam from CBSE. Note: The students should have studied the subject concerned, as mentioned in the RRs, for at least two years during the graduation course.
