Kerala SET answer key 2024 OUT: The LBS Centre for Science & Technology released the provisional answer key for the July cycle on July 29, 2024. The candidates were allowed to raise objections till August 3, 2024, through post by paying INR 300 per objection (Demand Draft). The candidates could access the Kerala SET provisional answer key on the official website. The answer key has been released for both Paper 1 and 2.

Kerala SET is organized by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, for the students to be selected as Higher Secondary School Teachers and Non-Vocational Teachers in VHSE. Qualifying for the Kerala State Eligibility Test is stipulated as a mandatory requirement for candidates to be appointed as Higher Secondary School Teachers in the State. The Kerala SET exam is of a four-hour duration. As part of the Kerala State Eligibility Test exam, aspirants have to give two papers. While Paper 1 is common for all candidates, Paper 2 contains questions from the subject in which the candidate had a specialisation at the post-graduation level. Students can select from a list of 31 subjects to give the Kerala State Eligibility Test Paper 2 exam. Yes you can definitely appear for the Kerala SET exam again If you did not clear it in the first attempt. The Kerala SET exam is conducted twice a year by the LBS Centre for Science & Technology for the selection of Assistant Professor in various Kerala Universities and Colleges. 

There is no limit on the number o attempts that you can makefor the Kerala SET exam. However, you have to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the exam, which include having master's  degree with at least 55 per cent marks (50 per cent for reserved categories) or equivalent from the UGC recognised University.

Steps to Raise Objections against Kerala SET Answer Key 2024

Candidates can raise objections against the Kerala SET answer key by following the steps below.

  • If you find any answer as faulty or incorrect, raise objection against the same in the format given below:

Candidates can even email their complaints to ddcc.lbs@kerala.gov.in. However, such complaints will be entertained if candidates send the supporting documents by post within the prescribed time limit. What after Kerala SET Answer Key?

The Kerala SET result is announced by the LBS Centre after the final answer key. All candidates who will be qualifying the Kerala SET 2024 exam will then be issued Kerala SET eligibility certificates. Post this, all qualifying candidates will be able to apply for recruitment as higher secondary school teachers and Non-Vocational Teachers in VHSE, Kerala.
