Eligibility to be a Lecturer: Educational Qualification To be eligible to be a lecturer one should hold at least a Master Degree in any of the relevant subject with at least 55% marks in it. Higher qualifications are always preferred. Interested candidate has to appear in MH SET exam which is held twice a year and pass it.This is the only hurdle to be cleared to be eligible to get a job as a lecturer In a college. After clearing MH SET exam one is eligible for applying as a lecturer in any college affiliated with any of the university recognised by UGC in Maharashtra. The MH SET Result 2024 OUT: The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), earlier known as UNIPUNE declared the MH SET 2024 Result on the official website at setexam.unipune.ac.in. Candidates who appeared for the 39th edition of the Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH SET) exam held on April 7, 2024 could check the result by using their seat number, name, mobile number, and date of birth.

Criteria for Evaluation of MH SET Result

Firstly, candidates need to pass in both the MH SET papers as mentioned below.

SPPU prepares the merit list of those candidates who obtain minimum aggregate marks as mentioned above. The list is prepared subject-wise and category-wise using the aggregate marks of all three papers.

The top six per cent of candidates (for each subject and category) from the MH SET merit list are declared qualified for the post of Assistant Professor.
