National Bank For Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) released NABARD Grade A notification 2024 for the posts of Assistant Manager Grade A (Rural Development Banking Service), Assistant Manager in Grade A (Rajbhasha Service), and Assistant Manager in Grade A (Protocol & Security Service). The online application form link was available from July 27 to August 15, 2024. The exam dates of NABARD Grade A 2024, as well as the other details related to the exam, were announced along with the detailed notification.

Q:   When NABARD Grade A application form 2024 will be released?

A:

NABARD Grade A application form 2024 was released on July 27, 2024. Interested candidates need to apply online for the exam. The last date to fill the application form was August 15, 2024. The application fee can be paid online and it is INR 800 for the General category, whereas it is INR 150 for SC/ ST/ PWBD for Grade A RDBS/Rajbhasha. The application fee for Grade A P&SS post is INR 750 for General and INR 100 for others. NABARD Grade A application form comprises several steps such as application registration, payment of application fee and uploading of scanned photograph and signature.

NABARD Grade A Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for NABARD Grade A 2024:

NABARD Grade A Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates for P&SS post should be aged between 25 and 40 years while for RBDS post should be between 21 and 30 years.

The educational qualification prescribed for the post of RBDS is graduation. Candidates for P&SS post must be an officer with a minimum of five years of Commissioned Service in the Army/Navy/Air Force. They must have a valid Ex-Serviceman Identity Card

NABARD Grade B Eligibility Criteria 

Postgraduation in any subject from any recognised university with 60 per cent (55 per cent for SC/PWBD). Candidates should have minimum 60 per cent in Class 10, 12, Graduation and PG, MBA/PGDM at all levels or minimum 60 per cent or equivalent in Class 10, 12, Graduation, PG and Professional degree (CA/CS/CWA) or a minimum of 60 per cent or equivalent in Class 10, 12, graduation. PG and PhD.

Candidates must have experience of three years (SC/PWBD is two years) in related sectors such as Banking, Finance, Agriculture & Allied and Rural Development.

NABARD Application Form 2024

Interested candidates need to fill NABARD application form online. For RDBS/Rajbhasha, the application fee is INR 800 for the General category while it was INR 150 for SC/ST/PWBD candidates. For P&SS post, the application fee is INR 750 for General and INR 100 for others. The application fees for Manager Grade B are INR 900 for General and INR 150 for others. The steps to fill NABARD application form are given below:

  • Visit the official website
  • First register for the exam by clicking ‘Click here for New Registration’
  • Enter their name, contact details, and email ID to register
  • A provisional registration number and password are generated
  • Upload the scanned images of photograph, signature, Left Thumb Impression and Handwritten Declaration
  • Fill the detailed application form
  • Pay the application fees using Master/Visa/RuPay Debit or Credit Cards or Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets
  • Submit the application form and take printout of e-receipt

Q:   How can I change the NABARD exam center.

A:

The prelims exam of NABARD Grade A is conducted at around 160 exam cities while the Mains exam is conducted at around 21 exam cities. The interview is conducted at region-wise NABARD offices. The exam centres selected by candidates cannot be changed under any circumstances.

Q:   During my NABARD grade A online form, I filled wrong caste by mistake and now I've qualified the exam. How can I solve this problem?

A:
There must be an option to edit the form if not pleas try to contact the college administrations and tell them that you will fill the correct information at the time of admission as it was only the form for entrance no need to worry But if you have selected any reserved category and you are selected according to that cut-off then do check cut-off for your category & do the needful.

Q:   What is NABARD Grade A salary?

A:

The initial basic NABARD Grade A salary is INR 28,150 per month. The pay scale is INR 28,150-1550 (4 years)-34350-1750 (7years) – 46600 - EB-1750 (4 years) - 53600-2000 (1 year)-55600. The first increment offered to candidates is 1550 and it continues for four years. With the basic pay of INR 44,850, an increment of INR 1750 is given for the next seven years and so on. This makes the maximum average basic pay of NABARD Grade A INR 55,600. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments are approximately INR 70,000.

Q:   When NABARD Grade A admit card is released?

A:

NABARD Grade A admit card is released one week before the exam. The admit card is released online separately for prelims exam, Mains exam and interview. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post.

The exam pattern of NABARD Grade A and B is given below.

NABARD Grade B Exam Pattern 

NABARD Grade B exam pattern comprises prelims, mains, and interview. The prelims exam comprises eight sections-Test of Reasoning, English Language, Computer Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, Decision Making, General Awareness, Eco & Soc. Issues (with focus on Rural India) and Agriculture & Rural Development with Emphasis on Rural India. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 200. The mains exam comprises three papers. Paper I is a descriptive type paper while Paper II & III comprises objective-type and descriptive-type papers. The mains exam carries total 300 marks. The interview carries 75 marks.

NABARD Grade A Exam Pattern 

The preliminary exam of NABARD Grade A is divided into eight sections and comprises multiple-choice questions (MCQ). The test carries a total of 200 marks. The duration of the test as per NABARD Grade A exam pattern is 120 minutes. The mains exam is a mix of objective and descriptive-type papers. The exam comprises two papers - I, II. Paper I will be objective type while Paper II carries both objective-type and descriptive-type questions. The descriptive paper is held for 90 minutes while the objective paper will be for 50 minutes. Each paper carries 100 marks. The interview carries 50 marks.

NABARD Grade A exam pattern for RDBS and Rajbhasha comprises eight sections. The duration of the test is 120 minutes and the total marks allotted to the exam are 200. The Mains exam of NABARD Grade A comprises two papers, Paper-I is an objective paper and Paper-II is both objective and descriptive papers. Paper-I will be held for 90 minutes while Paper-II will be held for 120 minutes. Each paper carries 100 marks. The Interview carries a total of 50 marks. The selection of candidates for P&SS post is done based on interview only.

The marking scheme of NABARD Grade A is given below:

  • There is a penalty for wrong answers. For every wrong answer, 1/4 marks assigned to that question are deducted as a penalty in both prelims and Mains exams
  • The final selection is done based on the Mains exam and interview
  • Qualifying Sections in prelims exam are Test of Reasoning, English Language, Computer Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, Decision Making
  • Merit Sections in prelims exam are General Awareness, Eco & Soc. Issues (with focus on Rural India), Agriculture & Rural Development with Emphasis on Rural India
  • Shortlisting of the candidates for the Mains exam is done based on marks scored in the merit section only
