NDA Result 2025: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will announce NDA result 2025 onlune for both the sessions of the exan. The result of NDA 2025 will be announced roll number-wise and then name-wise. The link to download NDA result will be made made on the official website. However, we will provide the direct link to check the NDA result. The result will comprise the roll numbers of qualified candidates. Qualified candidates will appear for SSB Interview.

Successful candidates of the written exam are required to register themselves online on the Indian Army website within two weeks. Candidates are then allotted selection centres and dates for SSB Interview. Candidates are also required to submit original certificates in support of age and educational qualification to respective SSBs during the interview. The marksheet of the written exam is released within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result.

NDA 2025 exam dates have been announced. NDA 1 2025 exam will be conducted on April 13, 2025. The NDA 2 2025 exam will be conducted on September 14, 2025.

UPSC has released NDA 1 2024 marks for the recommended candidates. The marks have been released in PDF form on the official website. The marks PDF comprises the candidate's name, roll numbers, scores obtained in the written exam, SSB interview and final total. NDA 1 2024 final result was announced on October 25, 2024. Q:   What happens after you clear the NDA written examination?

A:
The NDA written examination is the first stage of the NDA. After you clear stage one, you will be called for the second stage, which is SSB. The SSB consists of intelligence and personality tests and lasts for five days. It goes like this: 1. Day one consists of a screening test. 2. Day two consists of two psychological tests: TAT and What. 3. Days three and four consist of group testing officer (GTO) tasks such as group discussion. 4. The fifth and final day will consist of a conference round. There is an elimination of candidates for each task, and finally, after this, the selected candidates will have to undergo medical testing.

Q:   How many days does it take to get a review medical call for the NDA/NA?

A:
The medicals after NDA SSB are called SMB (Special medical Board). This done at the Military Hospitals. Each recommended candidate are required to go through it. The TR/PR candidates get another chance to prove themselves medically fit within 42 days from the medical conference, this is called AMB (Appeal medical Board). This takes place at Command Hospitals. The candidates who are rejected from AMB may or may not get the chance for Review Medical Board (RMB). RMB is not the right of the candidate but is given by reviewing your ailment by senior doctors of Army at the office of DGMS behind North Block, near Rashtrapati Bhavan. It usually takes about a month.

How the Scores of NDA Calculated?

UPSC follows the marking scheme while calculating the scores of candidates. NDA marking scheme is given below:

  • In General Ability Test (GAT), candidates get four marks for correct answers
  • In the Mathematics section, for correct answers candidates score 2.5 marks
  • For wrong answers, 0.33 marks are deducted

Q:   What are the passing marks in NDA?

A:
Candidates are required to score a minimum of around 25 per cent marks in each subject to clear the NDA written exam. The total marks allotted to the written exam are 900. Besides the subject-wise cut off marks, the examination authority also decides overall cut off marks for different defence services. Candidates are required to secure both section-wise and overall cut off marks. To be in the final merit list, candidates are required to secure separate qualifying marks in the written exam and SSB interview.

Q:   What is NDA marking scheme?

A:

NDA marking scheme is prescribed by UPSC. The marking scheme highlights the marks awarded for correct answers and marks deducted for wrong answers. In Maths 2.5 marks are awarded for correct answers and 0.83 marks are deducted for wrong answers. In GAT four marks are awarded for correct answers and 1.33 marks are deducted for the wrong answers. The score of the written exam is calculated out of 900 marks. The examination authority calculates the scores of candidates based on the marking scheme. Stages of NDA Result

NDA result is declared in two stages. First, the result for the written exam is declared, which is followed by the declaration of the final result. The stages of NDA result are explained below:

NDA Result for Written Exam

The written exam as per NDA exam pattern comprises two sections-GAT and Mathematics. The total marks for the test are 900. UPSC prepares a list of candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in the written exam. Only such candidates are selected for SSB Interview for Intelligence and Personality Test.

NDA Final Result

NDA final result is declared after the completion of the SSB Interview. Candidates are selected for admission to the Army/Navy/Naval Academy and Air Force based on their performance in the written exam and SSB Interview. Candidates are required to secure separate minimum qualifying marks in both tests.

NDA Tie Breaking Policy

When two or more candidates secure equal aggregate marks in NDA exam, the ties are resolved as per age. This means candidates older in age are given preference.

Q:   How can I know my SSB dates and interview schedule after clearing the NDA written exam?

A:

Candidates who will qualify the written exam of NDA are required to check the official website of the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Air Force as per their preferences for information on SSB dates and interview schedules. Q:   How many students apply for NDA exam and qualify it?

A:
Around two to three Lacs candidates apply for NDA exam. The written exam of NDA is cleared by around 8000 to 10,000 candidates. Such candidates are called for SSB interview. The pass percentage in SSB interview is around 10 to 15 per cent. Many students are rejected on medical ground as well. After the medicals, a merit list is prepared which features around 580 to 650 candidates. First 350 to 380 candidates are invited for admission to NDA and INAC. Some candidates do not join and some are not able to cope up with the tough training process. NDA selection process is bit tough therefore it takes about six months preparation to crack the exam.
