RBI Assistant exam pattern is divided into prelims and mains exam. Candidates qualifying the mains exam are called to appear for Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The prelims exam is divided into three sections while the mains exam comprises four sections. The total marks of the prelims exam are 100 while the mains exam carries 200 marks. RBI Assistant Marking Scheme

The marking scheme of RBI Assistant is given below:

  • For every correct answer, candidates score one mark
  • There are also RBI Assistant negative marking for incorrect answers, 0.25 marks are deducted
  • There is no weightage for LPT. Candidates must be able to speak, write and understand the local language of the state they have applied for. Candidates need to qualify the LPT or else they are not considered for the recruitment exam

RBI Assistant basic salary is INR 20,700 per month. The pay scale is INR 20,700-1,200 (for 3 years)-INR 24,300-1,440 (for 4 years)-INR 30,060-1,920 (for 6 years)-INR 41,580-2,080 (for 2 years)-INR 45,740-2,370 (for 3 years) – INR 52,850 – 2,850 – INR 55,700 (after 20 years). The total gross RBI Assistant salary is INR 45,050 per month. Candidates are entitled to various allowances and benefits such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, and Transport Allowance.

Q:   What is RBI Assistant exam pattern?

A:
RBI Assistant exam pattern for prelims is divided into three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The Mains exam carries sections on Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of Numerical Ability, Test of General Awareness and Test of Computer Knowledge. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. RBI Assistant exam is conducted online. The duration of the prelims exam is 60 minutes. Candidates will get 20 minutes to solve the questions. The duration of the mains exam is 135 minutes. The duration of the test of Reasoning is 30 minutes, Test of English Language is 30 minutes, Test of Numerical Ability is 30 minutes, Test of General Awareness is 25 minutes and Test of Computer Knowledge is 20 minutes.
