RBI Grade B Exam Centres 2024:  Reserve Bank of India releases the list of test cities for prelims and mains exams along with the notification. The Phase 1 exam is conducted in more than 100 cities. The mains exam is conducted in more than 20 cities. Interview is conducted at some of the exam centres announced for the mains exam. Candidates are required to select RBI Grade B exam centres while filling the application form. Candidates can choose one exam city each for prelims and mains exams. RBI Grade B exam centres are allotted to candidates on a first-apply-first-allot manner based on availability.

Q:   In how many shifts RBI Grade B Phase-I exam was conducted?

A:

RBI Grade B Phase-I exam was conducted in two shifts- 10:15 AM-12:15 PM and 14:15 PM -16:15 PM. The Phase 1 exam of RBI Grade B consists of four sections-General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning. The language of the question paper will be in English and Hindi. Total marks allotted to the test are 200. The mains exam of RBI Grade B is conducted in one shift. Candidates qualifying the phase 1 exam are called for the phase 2 exam. The phase 2 exam carries three papers and total marks allotted to the test are 300. The shift timings of RBI Grade B phase 1 exam are given below.

The exam day guidelines for RBI Grade B exam are given below: The roll number, password, date, time and details of the exam centres are given in RBI Grade B admit card To report on time on the exam day, candidates are advised to visit the venue one day before the exam Candidates should bring the admit card to the RBI Grade B exam centre along with their recent passport-size photograph duly pasted on it Candidates need to bring one valid photo-identity proof in original and a photocopy. The photo-identity proofs that candidates can carry are PAN Card/Passport/Permanent Driving Licence/Voter's Card/Bank Passbook/Identity Card issued by a recognised college/university/Aadhaar Card/E-Aadhaar Card/Employee ID/Bar Council Identity Card. Ratio Card and Learners Driving License are not accepted as valid ID proof Use of calculators, books, notebooks, written notes, pagers or any other electronic devices are not allowed during the exam Candidates must bring a ball-point pen for RBI Grade B exam Sheets for doing rough work will be provided at the exam centre.

Few important points related to RBI Grade B exam centres are given below:

  • RBI Grade B exam centres are liable to be changed at the discretion of the examination authority
  • Since the allotment of RBI Grade B exam centres will be done on a first-apply-first-allot basis, once the capacity of a particular centre is attained, the same will be frozen
  • Applicants who cannot get a centre of their choice will be required to choose a centre from the remaining ones
  • Applicants must fill RBI Grade B application form early so that they could get a centre of their choice
  • Candidates should not request for the change of RBI Grade B exam centre
  • Choice of exam centres for Phase I and II must be indicated separately in the application form
