RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) released the detailed RBI Grade B 2024 recruitment notification. The short RBI Grade B recruitment notification was released on July 19, 2024. The application form was available from July 25 to August 16, 2024. A total of 94 vacancies were announced for the exam. The recruitment notice is released to select Grade B Officers for General, DSIM & DEPR. Selected candidates join the Combined Seniority Group (CSG). The candidates selected through RBI Grade B recruitment are entitled to a gross salary of INR 1,08,404 after the 7th Pay Commission. RBI Grade B exam dates 2024 were announced along with the short notification. 

The Phase 1 exam of RBI Grade B 2024 General post was conducted on September 8, 2024. The Phase 1 exam for DEPR/DSIM department was conducted on September 14, 2024.  The Phase 2 exam for General post was conducted on October 19, 2024. The Phase 2 exam for DEPR/DSIM was conducted on October 26, 2024.

RBI Grade B Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria 2024

To apply for recruitment, candidates must fulfill the RBI Grade B eligibility criteria the examination authority prescribes. The eligibility criteria as per age, educational qualification, and the number of attempts are given below:

Any graduate candidates between 21 and 30 years can apply for RBI Grade B exam. Relaxation in the upper age limit is provided to candidates belonging to the reserved categories.Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline or have equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum 60 per cent marks (50 per cent for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) or postgraduation in any discipline/equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum 55 per cent marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in aggregate of all semesters/years. Q:   What is RBI Grade B eligibility?

Candidates applying for RBI Grade B recruitment should be between 21 and 30 years as per the eligibility criteria. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories are given relaxation in the upper age limit. For M.Phil and Ph.D. the upper age limit is 32 and 34, respectively. The educational qualification required for RBI Grade B is Graduation. Candidates need to secure the required minimum percentage of marks in Graduation. Candidates must secure 60 per cent in graduation (50 per cent for SC/ST/PwBD applicants). There is a limit on the number of attempts in RBI Grade B exam. Candidates belonging to the general category are permitted only six attempts. There is no limit in the number of attempts for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS candidates. The relaxation given in the age limit to candidates belonging to the reserved categories is provided below: SC/ST-5 years OBC-3 years Physically Handicapped-10 years PH OBC-13 years PH SC/ST-15 Years
