The scores of candidates for RBI Grade B exam are calculated based on the normalisation process since the exam is held in multiple sessions. The normalisation of marks are done to adjust the difficulty level of question papers across various sessions. RBI Grade B scorecard displays the section-wise and overall scores. The scorecard can be downloaded by entering the required credentials. Candidates can download their scorecards online only. The normalisation of marks are done using equi-percentile method. In normalisation process, the marks of the difficult session are adjusted with the easier one. The marks of candidates are calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers.

RBI Grade B exam pattern is such that it is divided into Phase I, II, and Interview. The Phase 1 comprises subjects such as General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning. The total marks allotted to the exam are 200. The duration of the test is 120 minutes. The language of the question paper is English and Hindi. Phase II comprises Paper-I: Economic and Social Issues, Paper-II: English (Writing Skills) and Paper-III: Finance and Management. The Phase 2 exam carries 300 marks. The duration of Paper I and III are 120 minutes (30 minutes for the objective test and 90 minutes for the descriptive test) while Paper-II is held for 90 minutes.
