TNUSRB SI exam pattern 2022 was released with the official notification on March 8. Tamil Nadu Uniform Service Recruitment Board(TNUSRB) reiterated that the TNUSRB SI exam was conducted as offline across the state. TNUSRB SI 2022 exam was conducted on June 25 and 26 based on the exam pattern notified in the official notification. TNUSRB SI exam test the knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Diet and nutrition, Environment and Ecology, History, Geography, Indian Polity, Economics, General Knowledge and Current Affairs. There were 80 questions in the General Knowledge paper.
The exam pattern is an important component of preparation because it gave insight into the structure of the exam and help in time management during the exam. TNUSRB SI recruitment process comprises several stages. Candidates need to get selected in the exam. Here we have explained the TNUSRB SI exam pattern to make the candidates familiar with it. TNUSRB has published the exam pattern in its official notification. Candidates are expected to be well aware of the nitty-gritty of the exam as it will help them to perform well. Exam pattern for open quota candidates is different from exam pattern for departmental quota candidates, therefore, they will be discussed separately.
TNUSRB SI 2022 Exam Pattern
1. TNUSRB Written Exam
TNUSRB written exam is held to examine theoretical knowledge of the candidates as per TNUSRB syllabus, find the details of written exam below:

TNUSRB SI Physical Measurement Test
This test is applicable only for open quota candidates only, departmental quota candidates are exempted from this stage. The height and circumference of the chests of the candidates are being measured in this stage. This test is just qualifying in nature. Here find the parameters Physical Measurement Test (PET):

3. TNUSRB Endurance Test (ET):
All those candidates who will clear PET, will be called for the Endurance Test. This test is also qualifying in nature. Find the details below:

NOTE: Departmental candidates need to pass Endurance Test. During the test, male candidates have to run 1500 metres in 7 minutes and female candidates have to run 400 metres in 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
4.TNUSRB Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
This test will be carried out for the candidates who will clear Endurance Test. Total marks for the test is 15. Find the details of the test below:

5. TNUSRB SI Certificate Verification:
- Open quota candidates, who have successfully cleared the Physical Measurement Test, Endurance Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Departmental candidates, who have cleared Endurance Test will be called for certificate verification by TNUSRB.
- Candidates need to produce all certificates in original which they have uploaded on the official website during the time of application
6. TNUSRB SI Interview/Viva-voce:
- 10 marks have been allotted for this stage of the recruitment process
- Open quota candidates, who have successfully cleared the Physical Measurement Test, Endurance Test, Physical Efficiency Test and certificate verification will be called for TNUSRB SI Interview/Viva-voce. The number of candidates called for this stage will be double the number of vacancies.
- Departmental candidates, who clear the Endurance Test will also be called for Viva-voce
7. TNUSRB Special Marks for NCC/NSS/SPORTS/GAMES
As per the TNUSRB information brochure, candidates holding certificates in NCC/NSS/SPORTS/GAMES will be given a maximum 5 marks extra during viva-voce. Refer to the tables given below for details:

8. Provisional Select List:
- A provisional selection list will be released after the completion of all stages mentioned above
- Provisional Select List will be prepared after aggregating marks obtained in Written Examination, Physical Efficiency Test, Viva-Voce and Special marks for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police (TK, AR and TSP) subject to communal reservation and total vacancies.
- All the candidates in the provisional select list need to undergo medical examination and verification of character and antecedents through Police Department.
