UPPCL JE exam pattern is different for different posts. The exam pattern is such that it comprises Computer Based Test and Interview. For eg: UPPCL JE exam pattern for Civil post is divided into four sections: Diploma Level Engineering Branch Civil, General Knowledge & Awareness, Reasoning and General Hindi. The paper will have 200 objective-type multiple-choice questions. The total marks allotted to the paper are 200. The duration of the test is three hours. UPPCL JE Exam Pattern for Electrical Post

UPPCL JE exam pattern for electrical post comprises computer-based test only. The online test will be of three-hour duration and carries 200 marks. The test paper comprises a total of 200 questions, out of which 150 questions are asked from the Diploma level Engineering (Electrical), 20 questions are asked from General Knowledge/Awareness, 20 questions are from Reasoning and 10 questions from General Hindi.

Marking Scheme of UPPCL JE

The marking scheme of UPPCL JE exam is given below:

  • For each correct answer, candidates score one mark
  • There is a negative marking for wrong answers. For the wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted
  • Candidates are required to obtain 30 per cent marks or else they will be rejected from the selection process
