UPPCL JE vacancies are released along with the notification. The vacancies are announced category-wise for different posts. In 2022, a total of 25 vacancies were announced for UPPCL JE exam. UPPCL JE Eligibility Criteria
According to the eligibility criteria, the age of candidates applying for UPPCL JE exam should be between 18 and 40 years. Candidates must have completed three years diploma in Civil Engineering awarded by the Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad, UP, or equivalent by the state government.

UPPCL JE Selection Process
The selection process includes Computer-Based Test (CBT) only. The CBT will be conducted at Varanasi, Lucknow, Agra and Meerut cities. The three-hour duration test carries a total of 200 marks. Questions will be asked from Diploma Level Engineering subjects, General Knowledge/Awareness, Reasoning, and General Hindi. Candidates need to secure 30 per cent in the test. Candidates qualifying the CBT will be called for document verification. Candidates two times the number of vacancies will be called for document verification. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the CBT. The selected candidates have to undergo a training programme for a period as decided by UPPCL.
UPPCL JE Salary
The salary will be given as per the Seventh Pay Commission in pay matrix-7. Candidates are entitled to a pay scale of INR 44,900. Dearness and other allowances will be provided as per UPPCL.

Candidates must have passed three years Diploma examination in Electrical Engineering offered by the Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh or equivalent Diploma recognised by the State Government

Three years All India Diploma Examination in Electrical Engineering conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India
Or,
Diploma examination in Electrical Engineering conducted by any of the universities in India incorporated by an Act of the Central/State legislature
Civil Post
The age of candidates should be between 18 and 40 years . Three years Diploma examination in Civil Engineering awarded by the Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad, UP or equivalent recognised by the state government. Diploma received through Distance Learning education is not applicable. Candidates must produce a certificate from the head of the institution from which they passed out or from a gazette officer in Uttar Pradesh that he can read and write Hindi in the Devnagri Script with ease. Such certificate will not be necessary in the case of candidates who passed the High School or an equivalent examination with Hindi or who have obtained a degree, diploma, or certificate of any Hindi examination from an institution recognised by the state government.
