Ideally, 6-month time is good enough to complete the JEE Main preparation. Students who have started preparing from class 11 or 12 can easily prepare for JEE Main. In 6 months considering the topics of JEE syllabus have already been studied in classes 11 and 12. JEE Main preparation is most effective with classes 11 and 12 as almost 90-95 percent of topics are similar in both exams. This way students can easily complete the entire JEE Main. Syllabus as well as the syllabus of classes 11 and 12. After the board exams, students get 2-3 months' time where they can focus entirely on JEE Main. Students who have started late for the JEE Main exam can make a 6-month plan where in the first three months they have to focus on revising the syllabus studied in classes 11 and 12. In the next two months focus on solving questions of JEE Main and analyzing the mistakes being made, if any. The last month should be focused on solving mock tests and JEE Main previous year question papers.

How to confirm admission after the release NIT Patna merit list?

NIT Patna offers BTech programmes based on JEE Main scores. Based on merit lists and counselling rounds, students are shortlisted. As the counselling process starts, candidates whose names appear on the list of seats allotted are temporarily admitted to the relevant course. Each counselling round has a deadline for the shortlisted candidates to report and under that time period, they must have to choose, confirm, and lock their choices. The next step is of fee payment by the candidates to avail a course in a particular counselling round. Candidates must confirm their seats for final admission to NIT Agartala by presenting the necessary documentation after paying the fee. The allotment shall be cancelled in the event that the admission confirmation is not completed under the deadline.

The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam for NIT Patna admission to BE/BTech course is ongoing till Jan 29, 2025. For the BArch and BPlan courses, the exam is scheduled to be held on Jan 30, 2025.

The IIT JAM 2025 admit cards are now available for admission to the MSc course. Registered candidates can log in and download their hall tickets by visiting the official website. The IIT JAM 2025 exam is scheduled for Feb 2, 2025.
The GATE 2025 admit cards have been released for admission to the MTech course. Registered candidates can log in and download their admit cards from the official website. The GATE 2025 exam is to be conducted on Feb 1, Feb 2, Feb 15, and Feb 16, 2025.
The CAT 2024 result has been declared for admission to the MBA/PGDM courses. Candidates can log in and download their scorecards on the official website.
The NIMCET 2025 application form for admission to the MCA course will be released tentatively in Mar 2025. The NIMCET 2025 exam dates will be announced soon.

National Institute of Technology Patna (NIT Patna) is an esteemed Engineering institute in the country. The institute has secured ranks from various national and international bodies.
