Good college but if you want to enjoy college life, maybe not preferable.

Placements: In my course, this year, which is the 2025 batch, around 60% of students have been placed till now (Dec 2024). The highest package is 54 LPA from Microsoft, and the lowest is 6 LPA. Top recruiters are Google, Amazon, Accenture, Microsoft, Oracle, etc. Intern offers are a bit less; only 20-25% have been able to secure an intern. Top companies are Microsoft, Accenture, Google, and Amazon. I myself have been selected as an intern at Amazon and Accenture. Top roles offered in my course are SDE, SWE, ASE, analyst, and project manager.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good. We have two campuses. Wi-Fi is enabled all over the campus and hostels. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and well maintained. The library is really good with loads of books. We also have access to many e-libraries through our college mail. The hostel is pretty huge. Mess food is average, but we have a canteen and cafeteria in college and a Nescafe outlet in the hostel. Medical facilities are top-notch and free of cost. SAC is there for sports activities.

Faculty: Faculty are well qualified and at least Ph.D. Most of them are senior professors with 10-15+ years of experience. Many of the professors are top 2% scientists in the world. Course curriculum is relevant for the stream you want to study. The curriculum is pretty flexible; if you want to study other fields, you can choose open electives. Semester exams are very easy and not so hectic.

Other: The size of the campus is a bit small. But we are shifting to a new campus, so it'll be not a problem. Events and club activities are very good. Two fests are organized every year.

Good placement, average infrastructure, good facility, fewer events and fests.

Placements: Almost 80 percent have been placed before the recession, but after that, in recent years, the condition of placements is concerning. It was good for top branches. The highest package is good and can go to crores. The lowest package is 6 LPA. The average is 13 LPA. Roles are in development. 20 percent of students get the opportunity for an internship.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is available in the whole college. Classes are good, but some are in bad condition. The library is good, with a capacity of 200 students. The facility of the mess is good. The food is good on most days, but bad on some days. The sports facility is good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, as per my experience, and knowledgeable, as in NIT. The teaching quality is good, and the teachers are qualified. Yes, the course is relevant, but not as good as electronics and CSE. Semester exams are not difficult, but you can fail if you don't study. However, if you study daily for at least 1 hour, then the semester exams are quite easy.

Other: I chose this because it is a national institute and provides a lot of opportunities for their students from the college side. Things that I want to improve: start teaching about what is needed for placement rather than teaching the old syllabus. Fests don't happen very often. There is no campus crowd as some students have shifted to the new Bihta campus. Scholarships are available for a few students. Extracurricular activities happen very often.

According to me, it's an NIT college, so students gain good knowledge.

Placements: Around 80%-85% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package in our college is 45 LPA, the average salary package is 14 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 6 LPA. Aditya Birla, Tata, PhonePe, and more companies are recruiting for our course. Every student gets an internship in the 2nd or 3rd year after hard work. There is a placement coordinator.

Infrastructure: Facilities available in our hostel include Wi-Fi, drinking water, light, fans, and beds. Fully air-conditioned classrooms are available in our college. A central library is also available on our campus, and books can be issued by students. The quality of food in the mess is average. There are three canteens available on our campus, and the fast food is good. We have a small ground to play different sports like volleyball, football, and cricket. However, only one sport (either cricket or football) can be played at a time. We also have a badminton court, table tennis, and music facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful in studies and projects. They are qualified and very knowledgeable. We are comfortable studying with them. According to me, the course curriculum is relevant. It prepares us to manage future tasks. The mid-semester exam is good because teachers ask questions based on what they taught in class. The end-semester exam has not been conducted yet. The pass percentage is 33% of the total marks.

Other: I chose this course because it lies within my rank. The best thing about my course is that it is an evergreen branch. I wish the course could be improved in the first year. There are a few events and fests conducted, like Natvansh and Bollywood. Our campus is very small, covering 36 acres. Connectivity is good because the station is 4 km away, and the airport is 10 km away. It is a high-density city. Scholarships are available for students.

The highest salary package stood at INR 52 LPA whereas the average salary package stood at INR 14 LPA. Some of the participating top recruiters included ONGC, Bharat Electronics, Google, etc.

Infrastructure: Campus has a residential complex with three boys' hostels and two girls' hostels, as well as a central mess, uninterrupted water and electricity supply, 24*7 Wi-Fi connectivity, and other essential. Sports center is open to students and offers equipment for both indoor games like table tennis and outdoor games like football, cricket, tennis, basketball, volleyball, and badminton. There is an athletic track to maintain both physical and mental activity. Faculty: College faculty members are very good and well-qualified. Most faculty members come under 2% of scientists all over the world. Akshay, Deepak sir, and Prabhat sir are best faculty members. All faculty members are very helpful you can approach them anytime. There are mid-sem and end-sem in each semester, and rarely students fail.

Other: Campus is very good, short, and sweet. Everything is nearby. It is good for civil department students, this is the best campus for civil engineering.

Very dissatisfied being here.

Placements: As per authorities, Electrical Engineering placements percentage was 94%. The highest and average package offered during NIT Patna placements 2023 stood at INR 52 LPA and INR 13.30 LPA, respectively. A total of 112 companies participated and 639 offers were made during NIT Patna placements 2023. The lowest package offered during NIT Patna placements 2023 was INR 6 LPA. The prominent recruiters of NIT Patna placements 2022 were Meta, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, Deloitte, etc. Top recruiting companies are NTPC, BHEL, L&T, Bajaj, Samsung, and Havells. Data for internship percentage is not shared by college but as per our seniors, very few students got internships, about 30-40%. Roles offered were IT Digital / Analytics, SDE Intern, Graduate Engineer Trainee, Business Analyst / Digital Analyst, etc.

Infrastructure: WiFi is extremely slow. Hostels are overcrowded. Labs are good. Classes are pathetic with no facilities and in many classes most of the fans don't work. The library is very small but good. Fixed mess menu with no scope of change and there is no mess council or student council. Food is good in the mess. The canteen is also good but there is no night canteen. There is a doctor available 24/7 for your treatment free of charge. There is only one ground where we play cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, and court is also there.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but you won't understand anything. YouTube will be your only companion for 4 years. The curriculum is absolutely relevant and is industry-oriented. Semester exams are doable if you work hard studying the topics; otherwise, it might be tough.

Other: I didn't choose this course; rather, this college and course chose me. The crowd is just pathetic. Every branch is heavily crowded and very few good and dedicated students are around.

NIT Patna offers placements with an average package range from INR 6-8 LPA, with the highest of INR 30 LPA, and 100% of students got placed.	51% of students are placed right now. 24 LPA is the highest package and 6 LPA is the lowest package.
