College is good but you can go for a better one.
Placements: IN EE Branch, around 60% of students got placed by Dec'24. Top recruiting companies were Google, Amazon, Oracle, Samsung, Infosys, and many more. The roles offered were of data analyst and software developer. Many companies do not consider EE students for SDE posts; that's a big issue.
Infrastructure: The EE department is one of the oldest departments of the institute. Classrooms are good, and students are provided with e-library access. Wi-fi is available on the whole campus. Hostel is good- 1 for girls and 6 for boys. Food quality is okayish. Medical facilities are provided 24*7.
Faculty: Professors are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. All of them are Ph.D. holders. Yes, the courses are relevant to industry needs. Besides, one has to prepare himself/herself too. Each semester has 2 exams, midterm and endterm. One needs to have at least 35% in order to pass the course.

NITP Review: Honest Review
Placements: I am in my second year, so I don't know about the placement, but talking about the seniors, it was 100% placement for mechanical engineers. The highest package goes up to around 12 to 14 lakhs, and the average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs, and the minimum is 6 lakhs. Top recruiting companies, I still don't know, but you can definitely refer to the website of NIT Patna for the percentage of students getting placed, which is about 50% in top roles in my course, Mechanical Engineering.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for the classrooms are okay. In some classrooms, there are ACs available, but in some classes, it is not available; only fans are available. The library is a bit smaller, but it's fine. AC is available in the library, and you can study until 9 in the evening. The labs are also really good, and the quality of the equipment is decent.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are really helpful, and they are qualified and knowledgeable. The curriculum is really relevant; it makes the students industrially knowledgeable. You have to do self-study, but the semester exams are not at all difficult.

According to me, it's an NIT college, so students gain good knowledge.
Placements: Around 80%-85% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package in our college is 45 LPA, the average salary package is 14 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 6 LPA. Aditya Birla, Tata, PhonePe, and more companies are recruiting for our course. Every student gets an internship in the 2nd or 3rd year after hard work. There is a placement coordinator.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in our hostel include Wi-Fi, drinking water, light, fans, and beds. Fully air-conditioned classrooms are available in our college. A central library is also available on our campus, and books can be issued by students. The quality of food in the mess is average. There are three canteens available on our campus, and the fast food is good. We have a small ground to play different sports like volleyball, football, and cricket. However, only one sport (either cricket or football) can be played at a time. We also have a badminton court, table tennis, and music facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in studies and projects. They are qualified and very knowledgeable. We are comfortable studying with them. According to me, the course curriculum is relevant. It prepares us to manage future tasks. The mid-semester exam is good because teachers ask questions based on what they taught in class. The end-semester exam has not been conducted yet. The pass percentage is 33% of the total marks.
Other: I chose this course because it lies within my rank. The best thing about my course is that it is an evergreen branch. I wish the course could be improved in the first year. There are a few events and fests conducted, like Natvansh and Bollywood. Our campus is very small, covering 36 acres. Connectivity is good because the station is 4 km away, and the airport is 10 km away. It is a high-density city. Scholarships are available for students.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2027
3.8
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
A balanced life for B.Tech.
Placements: In our course, in last year 2023, around 72% of students have been placed. The highest salary package offered was about 45 LPA and the average salary package offered was 11 LPA. Top companies are Google, Amazon, and Aditya Birla Capital. There are fewer internships in the college for the ECE department. Top roles offered were VLSI engineer, network and signal-related engineer, and some coding-related and web-developer jobs.
Infrastructure: There are different hostels given to different year students. There is hostel Wi-Fi and we are given username and password to access that. There are labs for signal, digital and analog electronics, VLSI labs, and more. There is a department library for department-related books. There is also a central library present in the college. The quality of food in hostel is average. There are first aid kits in hostels and a medical center available in our college. Other are night canteens in one hostel and some canteens on campus. There is a playground where sports and many activities related to sports are conducted.
Faculty: Professors are there for different subjects and we can ask them any doubts related to the subject and they clear the doubt. They are qualified and have good knowledge. Course curriculum provides the right way to students in their respective aspects. Semester exams depend upon the different departments. Normally, in the electronics and communication engineering department, papers are a little tough. Pass percentage is 95%.
Other: There are two opportunities for our course to go for hardware or software. Teachers should develop a little bit of communication level with students. There are events conducted by different clubs and there are more technical and nontechnical activities. Fests are conducted in our college twice per semester. Surroundings are not bad but average and there is a new campus under construction in the outskirts of the city. Different scholarships are provided based on the income.

Inside review of NIT Patna.
Placements: Placements at mechanical engineering in NIT Patna are quite good. There are around 85% and above students get placed every year. The average salary package offered is about 8.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is around 19 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good, but it is manageable. Here we have a canteen, sports facilities, a gym, medical facilities, etc., on campus. The mess food depends on the hostel in which you are residing, but overall it is good as this institute is situated in Bihar. You may get good taste and variety in your food.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Their method of teaching is quite good. They are ready to cater to the doubts of students at any time. The course curriculum is very relevant. Semester exams are quite easy and almost every student can pass them.

Very dissatisfied being here.
Placements: As per authorities, Electrical Engineering placements percentage was 94%. The highest and average package offered during NIT Patna placements 2023 stood at INR 52 LPA and INR 13.30 LPA, respectively. A total of 112 companies participated and 639 offers were made during NIT Patna placements 2023. The lowest package offered during NIT Patna placements 2023 was INR 6 LPA. The prominent recruiters of NIT Patna placements 2022 were Meta, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, Deloitte, etc. Top recruiting companies are NTPC, BHEL, L&T, Bajaj, Samsung, and Havells. Data for internship percentage is not shared by college but as per our seniors, very few students got internships, about 30-40%. Roles offered were IT Digital / Analytics, SDE Intern, Graduate Engineer Trainee, Business Analyst / Digital Analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: WiFi is extremely slow. Hostels are overcrowded. Labs are good. Classes are pathetic with no facilities and in many classes most of the fans don't work. The library is very small but good. Fixed mess menu with no scope of change and there is no mess council or student council. Food is good in the mess. The canteen is also good but there is no night canteen. There is a doctor available 24/7 for your treatment free of charge. There is only one ground where we play cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, and court is also there.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but you won't understand anything. YouTube will be your only companion for 4 years. The curriculum is absolutely relevant and is industry-oriented. Semester exams are doable if you work hard studying the topics; otherwise, it might be tough.
Other: I didn't choose this course; rather, this college and course chose me. The crowd is just pathetic. Every branch is heavily crowded and very few good and dedicated students are around.
