Q:   How to prepare for CUET?

A:
CUET (Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology) is a highly competitive entrance exam in Bangladesh for admission to undergraduate engineering programs. Here are some tips to help you prepare for CUET: 1. Know the exam pattern: First and foremost, understand the exam pattern, including the number of questions, sections, and marks. CUET consists of 3 sections: Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry each carrying 100 marks. 2. Study the syllabus: Make sure you are aware of the entire syllabus and focus on the topics that carry more weightage in the exam. 3. Create a study schedule: Divide your time between the subjects and make a study schedule. Allocate more time to the subjects or topics you find difficult and less time to those you are confident in. 4. Practice sample papers: Practicing sample papers and previous year's question papers will help you get an idea of the exam pattern, difficulty level, and time management skills. 5. Join coaching classes: Joining coaching classes can help you understand the concepts better and solve doubts. But, it is not necessary as you can prepare on your own as well. 6. Take mock tests: Taking mock tests regularly will help you evaluate your progress and identify your weak areas. It will also help you develop speed and accuracy. 7. Stay calm and focused: Don't panic and stay calm during the exam. Focus on your strengths and attempt the questions you are confident in first. 8. Take care of yourself: Eat healthy food, stay hydrated, and get enough sleep. A healthy mind and body are essential for exam success. Remember, consistent hard work and dedication will help you achieve success in CUET. Good luck!

Magic of LSR is true.
Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in our course. Psychology is the maim subject of our college. I don't have much idea of packages. The highest salary package offered is 10.5 LPA. Roles offered are professor, organizational psychology, corporate, and counselling.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi and two air-conditioned libraries. Classrooms are divided into blocks. We have a new block, an old block, and a tutorial block where practical classes happen. The food is good. There is a huge variety of food available. It provides non-vegetarian also.
Faculty: The course is excellent. It is better than honour courses if you want a variety in what you study. Semester exams are not at all difficult. You can easily ace them by reading the material given. The passing percentage is around 27 out of 100% in final exams.
Other: I chose this course because I took psychology and sociology in school so it's good. The best part is that you get to study both the society and the mind of an individual. It is dynamic and intellectual. There is an annual fest called Tarang that happens every year. Another fest happens in October which is the Fiwali Fest called Noor.

Full of events, activities, best crowd is there.
Placements: Approximately 83% of students were accepted into our program. In the Sanskrit course, the average salary was 2.2 to 4 Lacs per annum, the maximum salary was 6 to 8 Lacs and the average salary was 4 to 5 Lacs per annum. Some students complete an internship. This course covers professions like school teachers, language teachers, translators, content writers, Sanskrit professors, and others.
Infrastructure: Our college has excellent infrastructure and facilities such as Wi-Fi, laboratories, library, classrooms and departments. The food is very hygienic, the catering and canteen are very clean, sports and games are carried out, cultural events are included, and medical facilities are available.
Faculty: The faculty members were highly qualified and had studied in college outside of other IITs. They are very helpful and if students read them with interest, they will help students in many ways. The quality of the training was excellent and they will provide additional information and resources to students. With a success rate of over 84% the exam was easy to pass.

Good faculty, mid fests, affordable fee structure, dissatisfied cos of placements.
Placements: The course-wise placement information is not readily available, and the placement highly depends on the course you're pursuing as well. Usually, the economics and commerce-related courses get more and better placement. The average placement of the college is 10 LPA, and the highest last year was 50 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel is not available to anyone as it has been under construction for the past 2 years. I and the current first years had to face issues regarding that as PGs around this area are quite expensive. The food is satisfactory at best, as I've heard from my friends. The area around the college isn't safe either, as we keep hearing about assaulters and snatchers.
Faculty: The faculty of English is really good and the sweetest. There are a few exceptions, of course, but overall the teachers are really welcoming and approachable. The course curriculum is also relevant; however, I wish it included more marginalized authors. The exams are quite easy if you aren't aiming to score high but merely pass.
Other: I have always loved literature, so going for English Hons was not a tough choice but rather an easy one. However, if a college is providing English Hons, it should also include papers that revolve around the publishing industry and creative writing. The college hosts a lot of fests, but the two major ones are Noor and Tarang. Noor takes place around Diwali, whereas Tarang happens around the beginning of March. Mostly, students from other colleges aren't allowed, which honestly is a major con. Other than that, we have 31 college societies too.

Best women college in Delhi University
Placements: There were companies like BCG, Blackstone, Nomura, Accenture in the 2024 placement session. LSR offers very good placement. The highest package went till 36 LPA this year. It generally provides great placement if you are prepared for it, then there is a higher chance that you will get placed.
Infrastructure: LSR infrastructure is good. We have a cafe, medical rooms, and Wi-Fi. Classrooms have projectors too. The hostel is not functional as of now. In sports, there are different games like judo, basketball, tennis, volleyball, etc. So overall it's great and has everything you need.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are great at LSR for other courses too. As per the new education policy, you will get a chance to learn some technical subjects too, so overall it's great for most of the courses available at LSR. Teachers are always there to help you whenever you face any issue.

Faculty members are very experienced and pathetic to students' struggles.
Placements: Students who are only dependent on this college for placements have no future. They have to gain extra knowledge and also have to depend on government jobs. They can fill out government examination forms also. Because the college provides not more than 5 LPA salary package.
Infrastructure: Library is very accessible and we also have a reference section. The new building classrooms are definitely better than the old building classrooms (the classes for maths are conducted in the new building). .
Faculty: We have to participate in the MS semester. After semester examination, we have to give practical examinations and viva is taken by the external faculty members. Goal Nandan who recently became the principal of the college is the most talented faculty member of our college. He is a regular and disciplined teacher. He also inspires students.
Other: I enjoy my overall campus life. Our annual fest is Tarang, which is held around February or March in the even semesters. We also have a diwali fest, Noor, which is open only to the student body, and other department fests where we can invite speakers and host competitions.

A really wholesome experience.
Placements: The placements in this college are very decent, especially for students pursuing Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics Hons. This year, the average package stood at 10.5 lakh per annum, while the highest went up to 48.9 LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Infosys, Bank of America, etc. Summer internships are really competitive in this college, where you may get different internship offers from the placement cell. Top roles offered can be data analyst, financial analyst, and consulting.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is way better than most colleges of DU, but many things are not available, like a proper sports complex or having AC in classrooms. Overall, the infrastructure is decent, with a library, canteen, administrative block, gazebos, Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms with working projectors.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and understanding, though you may find some not that helpful or nice, but overall you may find really amazing faculty. The curriculum decided by the University of Delhi is followed along with continuous assessment and internal assessments. The curriculum does help in making the students industry-ready only in case of practical subjects like maths, statistics, and commerce. Semester exams are tough, but the continuous exams are tougher when it comes to quizzes and tests.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in Economics, and the best things about my course are that it’s worth the hype and competition. The thing I would love to improve is removing the unnecessary burden of VAC and SEC since these skills don’t bring much value and take up a lot of time. The fest life here in the college is decent, though the events aren’t that nice.
