NIRF 2024 Rankings are out. As per the latest NIRF 2024 rankings, IIT Kanpur ranks #4 under the category 'Engineering'.

The GATE 2025 exam is ongoing for admission to the ME/MTech/PhD courses. The next exam dates for GATE 2025 are Feb 15 and Feb 16, 2025. Further, the GATE 2025 results are scheduled to be declared on Mar 19, 2025.

JEE Main 2025 Session 1 answer key has been released for IIT Kanpur admission to BE/BTech/BArch/BPlan courses, and the result is to be declared by Feb 12, 2025. For session 2, the registrations are open till Feb 25, 2025, and the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam is scheduled to be held between Apr 1 and Apr 8, 2025.
The JEE Advanced 2025 exam date has been announced for the BTech course. As per the official website, the JEE Advanced 2025 exam will be conducted on May 18, 2025. Further, the application form will be released in Apr 2025.
The IIT JAM 2025 exam is now over for admission to the MSc course. The IIT JAM 2025 results are set to be announced tentatively on Mar 19, 2025.
The CEED 2025 exam is now over for IIT Kanpur admission to the M.Des course, and the result declaration is scheduled for Mar 5, 2025.

Candidates seeking admission to M.Tech at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur must have passed a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (4-year course) or must have completed their master's degree in Science with marks not below the specified minimum. A relaxation of 5% aggregate or 0.5 CPI is offered to SC/ST/PwD category candidates on the minimum eligibility score.
