Rabindra Bharati University offers a one-year B.Ed programme through the Faculty of Arts. Aspirants who have completed graduation or Hons. graduation or postgraduation from any UGC recognised university with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) either at UG or PG level can apply for RBU Kolkata B.Ed programme. Aspirants will be shortlisted for B.Ed based on the merit in the last qualifying exam.

The final selection of some of the courses is based on practical and/ or theoretical tests conducted by the university and the merit obtained in the qualifying examination. The university also conducts online interviews for the final selection of some of the courses.
