NIMCET 2025 Counselling: Dates, Registration, Seat Allotment, Admission Process

The authorities have not yet announced the NIMCET 2025 counselling dates. Candidates who qualify the NIMCET exam and are interested in MCA admission at NITs will have to register for the counselling online at the official website nimcet.admissions.nic.in before the last date. Candidates will have to pay INR 1000 as counselling registration fees. The complete process and schedule of counselling will be announced soon.

The NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET), is a National Level Test conducted by NITs for admission to their Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program. The admission to the MCA programme to the ten NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Patna, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), and Warangal and IIIT Bhopal will be based on the Rank obtained in NIMCET.

Candidates have to verify their documents during the NIMCET counselling and also they have to bring the same documents in original at the time of joining. The documents required for NIMCET Counselling are listed below:

• NIMCET admit card
• NIMCET Rank Card
• Date of Birth Proof i.e. 10th marksheet
• 10th & 12th marksheet and passing certificate
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Category certificate
• 4 Recent passport size photograph

After completion of Seat Allotment Result in each round, a report will be published in public domain to view the institute wise seat allotment result. This will be a list of allotted candidates which may contains the NIMCET
Application Number, candidate category, PwD, allotted rank etc. Candidate can filter this list by institute wise.

The authorities have not yet announced the NIMCET 2025 seat allotment dates. The authorities will be able to access the round-wise seat allotment result online. To check their allotment status, the candidates will have to log in using the required credentials. Candidates not satisfied with their allotment will be eligible to participate in the next round of counselling.

The seat matrix will be published in public domain and any one can view. The seat matrix will have the various options for filtering seat matrix so that candidates can find out the intakes easily. Candidate can view the seat matrix institute wise, category wise etc.

No, candidates are not allowed to choose the date and time of the counselling process, as the schedule is decided by the exam-conducting body. The authorities will announce the NIMCET 2025 counselling dates. Candidates will have to register online and participate in the NIMCET counselling process by paying the fee and filling out their choices. Candidates who will be declared qualified on the basis of NIMCET results are eligible to participate in the counselling. The allotment of seats will be based on the marks secured in the NIMCET 2025 exam. NIMCET counselling will be conducted in four rounds.

process, payment procedures etc. Also, candidate should read instructions carefully, if agreed then proceed for
registration. 

Candidates can fill in as many choices in the order of preference as they wish to from the list of available choices.
Candidates are permitted, if they so desire, to change or re-order their choices, delete earlier choices and add new choices any number of times until they lock their final choices. Choices should be positively locked before last date & time failing which last saved choices will be considered for allotment. Choices submitted in the first round of counselling will be processed up to third round.
